That is quite cheap but fun item for your collection - as controller it's bad.
You can look yellow/GameCube version also, what is a little harder to find ;)

There were 2 versions of these if I remember rightly. A GameCube controller version and PS2 controller version. One was red and one was yellow, if I remember rightly. I think the GameCube one was the harder one to come by one. I personally love them, but when they were originally available, my allowance didn't get me much and when it came to a new game or a novelty controller, a new game always trumped the pad. Lol
If you like it, get it. If you're not fussed either way, then don't bother. Easy. Lol

I've always wanted one of these but haven't ever hunted for one. Can't imagine you wouldn't enjoy it but I don't know your tastes so really just depends on your personal preference.

I have one, cool on display but playability..... that's another thing
I prefer my DragonQuest Slime Controller, much easier on my hands :P

The problem is they're both radically different. The playstation 2 version, which is pictured above comes in a hard shelled platinum (wood looking) case. It has a few compartments in it as well for the wire for the controller and paperwork. The yellows gamecube version comes in extremely fragile two ply cardboard. I've seen 3 in the wild and everyone of them was damaged in some way. If you can id say get them both, but if you want a nice piece for your collection. Get the red ps2 version
