Hi All,

He's a first look at the Bloodborne diorama we've been working on. It will be roughly 10" tall, and depicts the Hunter slicing through a mob member. We haven't locked the paint quite yet, and we've increased the size of the characters and shrunk the base a bit on the final version, but you can see some color pics of the prototype on:

Wow that looks good!

Why doesn't the playstation gear store ship worldwide like the other treehouse stores? :banghead:

Sorry but I'm kinda glad they don't ship worldwide. They won't sellout in minutes. I still have time

I surrender. You will have my PO.

Looks great, especially the Hunter himself.

Hi Guys,

Glad you like it. The new pics are up on the gear store website. Basically, I got a little crazy when designing it and he was initially fighting two bad guys, but that would have made the base about 16"x17"...which was huge, and the whole statue would have been a lot more expensive. So, with great regret, I lost the smaller bad guy, and reduced the overall footprint of the base. Those initial pictures you saw on the website were of a smaller version of the statue when we tried to keep all three characters by reducing the size. They were about 6.5". The new statue has characters that are about 8.5" to 9" and the base is about 1" to 1.5" be pending on where the character is standing. The increased size allowed us to increase the smaller detail on the costumes and whatnot.

I'll post some development pics later on this week. I also listened to people's feedback here and on Statue forum and fixed a few things, like the blood initially looking too matte, or the bricks looking too plastic-y (our attempt at giving them the "wet look").

Thanks for the feedback,

Gary

Regarding worldwide shipping, I believe the Thinkgeek Solutions folks are researching possibilities, but that's going to take awhile as there are a lot of variables to contend with, including:

1) Regional licensing issues (a licensee in the UK won't like it if SCEA starts selling similar products in their territory)

2) Compliance testing (Europe and Japan have even more stringent materials testing than the U.S., so we need to address that

3) Finding local companies in different countries to handle fulfillment, returns, etc.

There's just a lot of logistics to work through, so I ask that you have patience.

Thanks,
G

Sign the statue? Lol! That would be a first. I'd have to figure out how to do it since the statues will be at the warehouse in another state, but if you send me you base, sure, I'd sign it.

hi Gary, is there any way to get one of these shipped to the uk using the same method as the Delsin figure that was shipped to the uk? i would also like it if you could sign the base :)

I wish I could, but alas, I am a one man dept, and I just don't have the bandwidth. Also, I'm not in a position to run credit cards, and the Delsin deal was a bit easier because Treehouse was cool enough to handle the transactions. Now that Thinkgeek owns them, they can't really do that anymore. Hopefully we'll come up with a solution soon.

Thanks,

G
