MERCHANDISE THREAD
So even though I'm terrible at updating initial posts, I figured I'd be more likely to do so if it was things that I was already posting about all the time anyway. So rather than clutter the "memorabilia" sub-topic with threads for Zelda merch, I figured we could try and keep a Master(sword) list here. Feel free to use it to discuss any new items as well and not just list them.
Let's keep the statues & CEs out of this thread though since we've already got threads and sub-forums for those. So this'll be where we post announcements for things such as merchandising, soundtracks, posters, clothing (some may collect these), figures, and other gaming swag related to The Legend of Zelda?
If you're adding to the list, be sure to include a Link (pun-intended) with some details so people don't have to click on it everytime to see the information. I'll try and figure out a format that works for everyone and will reserve the first 3 posts here for the Master(sword) List purpose!

I'll get you 2 if I can Cosmic. The GS pre-orders apparently already went live and sold out, so I'm just hoping they can locate some in-store for me or order from GSO (though I know they couldn't do it with other things like the Monopoly and stuff when they sold out until the 2nd wave came out). I've got a call in to a manager friend of mine already, but I'll let you know if they turn up. If you find them somewhere else please let me know, really not wanting to have to resort to ebay prices for something like that. :beg:

Congrats. And you didn't get me one? ;) Didn't even find out about them until a couple of days ago. I don't check the GS site that often, and hadn't been on other boards much lately either.
Yeah, I'll update the first posts with categories I guess (probably best way), so just make a post or two about it with some details, and probably best to put pictures in spoilers for mobile browsing, but doesn't have to be. :thumb:

Haven't heard either way. It is likely that SOME stores may get them since they've recently been overhauling some of the locations to include a "gaming swag" designated area where these would like be, but I think (like with the Zelda plushies recently) they may also be said to be available in stores, but then sold out online before they are ever shipped? Still haven't gotten word on it yet though.
Hopefully they'll be well-stocked in stores though, that'd be what I'm hoping for since I've got pick up 2 or 3 now for all the different Zelda DS's haha :)

Ha, no need to apologize. I wasn't commenting about you, was just saying that it can be a lot of trouble to open a new thread for little things like that, especially on mobile. So at least now it'll be easier for us to post our finds.
Also, I'm out of town right now so haven't had a chance to update the main post, but will ASAP! Thanks to those of you who have PMd me links and such! :)

Cheers Knight. Did you get your F4F Zelda yet?
If anyone collects official posters or shirts, the Zelda Symphony site (http://zelda-symphony.com/collections/all) is now selling their merch worldwide from all three of their tours. I have their first two sets, and I was considering getting the third (still not totally sure, I mean how many freaking tours are they going to have?). But here's a tip for you: I left the merch in my cart for a few days, and they sent me an e-mail offering 15% off the entire order with promo code "heylisten". :thumb:

Yeah, the first few always go super high. Then usually what happens is a bunch of other people will put theirs up hoping to get high $$, but with increased supply, the prices go down. That is, assuming they make enough of these for people to actually sell it. Seems like a jerky move to post that up there after many others probably spent all their stars. Oh well, can't get everything I guess. Thought it'd be perfect for my nursery room, but may just have to wait til I find it cheaper.
Got a few more Zelda items to post here too, so I'll be sure to add this to the master list.

Just wanted to give an update regarding 2 of the pieces of Zelda merch here:
1) the Adventure Kit pouch appears to still be sold out everywhere in the US but members who live in Australia can still get this on the Gamesmen's website. Listed at $29.95 AUD (which is less than USD). That's how I was able to get mine forwarded to me. Perhaps some of our aussie members would be willing to help members out here?
2) those who were asking, the NWS still has "plenty" of the launch exclusive posters and bookmarks for the Zelda graphic novel. They wouldn't provide a figure, but said they likely won't be selling out "immediately", so if you've got a friend in the city, they can still try and grab you one and you don't have to pay scalper prices!

Not yet bud, she said she'd be swinging by there later this afternoon, so I'll let you know as soon as I do. I did mention that if she wanted to bring a friend she could probably make a buck or two selling "her" copy as well, so if she gets an extra I'll see if she'll hook me up with the "family" rate for ya :)
As an aside, they told me that they sold out of the Majora's Mask & Xenoblade launch exclusive posters the first night... sad I still haven't been able to get one of those either :(

It's a nice item and it feels well made, but it's just when I think of other things I could spend £100 on, it would disappoint me to have spent it on this.
Unfortunately with Zelda items, they usually demand a high price anyway and in this instance, you literally are paying for the Zelda brand. I remember when you could pick up the Gold Zelda statue from ebay for around £100 for a little while. When you compare the 2 items, that's why I wouldn't have been happy to pay £100 for the light. Lol

After the abysmal showing by CN with the MM puzzle, it looks like USAopoly has put together a Majora's Mask 3D puzzle as well. This one is likely to be in similar fashion to the Wind Waker one they recently released.
Seems like some people on ebay are selling their preorders already though I haven't found any other NA sites selling or pre-ordering this yet (only ebgames.ca), but keep an eye out on Gamestop as they are likely to have it soon.

Lana looks good, but the other 3 figures look super derpy and I have no idea why they used the Twilight Princess skin for Ganon instead of the actual (and AWESOME) HW skin?

I've been a little lax regarding updating this thread, but here's a few more Zelda figurines that some of you may not have (they were previously available only in Japan or from WAY back when). They're available for pre-order at Gamestop now, though with them all adding larger "ThinkGeek/Merch" areas in their stores, these will likely be available in-store as well.
They're $12.99 each and will be released 11/25/15 - you can find all 3 HERE (http://www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=16k-3-Zelda+collectibles,28zu0).
(They also have a new Darkhorse "Skyward Sword" Link statue available for preorder for $79.99 - though I don't collect that series personally).

I really want this! Anyone have any idea if Amazon will be selling them? There is a third party selling it for $90 + $20 S/H. Or if I shouldn't wait, the best website to import from?

At PAX Prime here in Seattle they had Zelda TriForce Heroes shirts for those who played the demo of the game, insanely long lines but I got a few and will be adding to my eBay links on the for sale/trade collectibles thread soon.

Haven't updated the first post in a bit, but here are some new statue/figures from F4F/Darkhorse from the Skyward Sword series. Also, strange that they say GS Exclusive, I'm assuming that's just in the US though?
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Scervo Statue - GameStop Exclusive (by Dark Horse Comics but it says F4F on the box) - $124.99 MSRP

Also, here's the first glimpse of some of the 30th Anniversary (2016) Zelda merchandise that is likely to be aglut next year.
(Courtesy of NYCC, Zeldainformer.com, and Twitter)
Seems like there's potentially a new Zelda TCG coming out. If they're making "playmats", "card sleeves", and "collectible tins", its almost guaranteed to be an actual game. They also showed some Zelda dog tags and a few other miscellaneous items. So long wallet... I'll miss you!

And sorry for the 3rd post in a row, but what is your guys' preference for the master list in the front -- would you prefer links to where you can purchase the things (which might eventually run out), links to the post on this thread where all the information is, or small images next to each of them or something else?
I've tried to do a "Name of Item"(linked to where you can buy it), MSRP Price, Pic(link to picture of said item) when applicable, but just wondering if there's a better way to display it all for you before I start adding a bunch more things later? Let me know!

I would recommend the second option, linking to the specific post within the thread. It'd be easier to add plenty of photos, links to retailers, release details, and similar information from each specific post. In the long term, retailer links will run out of stock and go dead, and pics will lose their hosting and need to be re-linked, but the release details and similar information will last as long as this forum does. Best I think to keep the table of contents as it were simple, Ctrl+F searchable, and linked directly to the specific posts.
Also I have a ton of stuff I could add unless this thread is geared toward new releases? Let me know. :thumb:

You make valid points there. I'll take a look at it again and see which way works best! :thumb:
And yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking about -- does this become the thread where we just list new things that people can actually get right now? But I think maybe we can make it more than that and just put a collection of ALL the items that are available? Obviously its a huge undertaking, but there aren't many places on the internet that have it all in one location, so it could be pretty useful for the handful of Zelda collectors on here and possibly draw some more traffic in if it became extensive? Also, would be useful for us to see what else is out there that we need to hunt for.
I'm game for any additions - if you've got the time feel free to add 'em. Wish we could wiki-fy those posts though so others could change/add as they see fit, but not sure if the forum supports those options currently.

Spirit Tracks Train Whistle Press Kit
http://i.imgur.com/kT7rST2.jpg
Region: North America
Publisher: Nintendo of America
Release Date: November 20, 2009
Content Description: Wooden train whistle with laser-etched Spirit Tracks logo, 4GB SD card containing (at least) one video file of the opening cinematic and ten high res image files of character art, Nintendo DS branded USB SD card reader
Other Info/Pics: Distributed to select press outlets, including (at least) Destructoid (http://www.destructoid.com/), Joystiq (http://www.engadget.com/gaming/), Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/), and Nintendo Life (http://www.nintendolife.com/). A common misconception is that the train whistle came packed inside the Spirit Tracks treasure chest (http://collectorsedition.org/forums/showpost.php?p=271999&postcount=82), but the treasure chest was actually part of a different press package. Both press packages are considered to be among the rarest of Zelda collectibles, but no definitive count is known.

Region: North America
Publisher: Nintendo of America
Release Date: December 1, 2009
Package Description: Standard shipping box
Content Description: Wooden treasure chest, T-shirt, retail copy of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, documentation
Other Info/Pics: Distributed to select press outlets, including (at least) Destructoid (http://www.destructoid.com/), GamesRadar (http://www.gamesradar.com/), GoNintendo (http://gonintendo.com/), and Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/). The treasure chest features the Spirit Tracks logo engraved on the lid, and when the lid is opened, a light-activated speaker plays a sound byte of the Zelda treasure chest opening theme. Inside is some printed documentation, and a retail copy of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks atop a pile of green confetti paper. Also included with the package is a green T-shirt (men's L size) featuring Link character art. A common misconception is that the Spirit Tracks train whistle (http://collectorsedition.org/forums/showpost.php?p=271997&postcount=81) came packed inside the treasure chest, but the train whistle was actually part of a different press package. Both press packages are considered to be among the rarest of Zelda collectibles. No definitive count is known, but there are probably at least 31 of these press kits in existence.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that they ALL were separate. It seems like some reported them as coming "together" while others said they got theirs separately. Does "together" mean they came in the same package? Perhaps. But I have not seen enough 1st hand reports to verify either situation. It is very possible that some places received two separate packages while others received one with the whistle. Seeing as how they are so rare (and old now), it will be tough to find out. I am very surprised that I've never seen a letter included with one? These things ALWAYS had a letter from Nintendo or a 3rd party marketing department that addressed the game or the package itself. I've NEVER seen one yet and I spent awhile looking. Maybe its out there though?

Can you post any articles you saw where they said they came together?
I've not seen a letter with the train whistle, but the unboxing video of the treasure chest package shows a letter or some kind of documentation inside, it just doesn't show it up close. If I get your meaning, a copy of the letter would definitively prove one way or the other what was included, right?

Agreed, I'm a stickler for the documentation and other little bits as well.
If you can link me to a source that says they came together I'll update the above posts. I've got Nightram's video saying that they came as a set, but he didn't get his from Nintendo, he got his from Kotaku through a charity raffle. Then I saw some other sources that cite Nightram's video.
But I didn't see any that say they got their whistle and treasure chest together from Nintendo. Joystiq/Engadget saying specifically they were separate, GoNintendo with their treasure chest unboxing video showing what came in the actual shipping box (no whistle). Also the dates were different according to the firsthand sources I found. November 20 for the train whistle and December 1/thereabouts for the treasure chest. The game came out on December 7, so it makes sense the press would get the game about a week early and get press images a couple weeks before that.
Edit: Oh, and articles/videos cited are posted inside the Spoiler tags in case you missed em

Good points indeed. I was going off of Nightram's and what ZeldaDungeon Wiki had said, but after digging further into both stories it appears that neither actually had them included on the same day. Nightram posted elsewhere that he had to ask the guy at Kotaku separately for the whistle and then later bid on the chest and won it, so it seems they were separate. And the ZD wiki has 2 sources below where they say it was included and neither of them actually confirm that fact at all.
:thumb: Makes me feel a tad better about a recent transaction I made, that's for sure! But, I'll keep pursuing to get more details.
Edit: Also, I might see if I can use some "software" to pull images of those 2 documents in that one unboxing video - I'm really curious to see what they say now!

Yeah, Alex (the guy who owns/runs F4F) at least made the diorama available to those of us who already purchased the statues (cheaply) from Gamestop. Its a resin base and HUGE, but still, I haven't pulled the trigger yet after debating it all day because $200 + shipping could go towards another Zelda figure or something that I've missed. If he had put a coupon code with it, it might've pushed me over the edge. As of yet, I'm still undecided though.

Yeah, I am also contemplating it. Having not already got the figures, it's a better idea for me to just get the whole diorama. The only thing that concerns me is, how will they be numbering them. Will they just do a set run of bases and number them from 1? o.0 With the base being it's own product and the figurines being shipped in their original packaging, or would I get a complete box that holds the figures and the base together as a complete set? I ask as this will potentially affect the run number and sequences.

So there's a glut of new things given away, sold, and displayed at E3 -- those who care probably have already purchased, acquired, or are hunting them for a more reasonable price, but I'll post those later, just wanted to show THIS one first as its likely to sell out being "Zelda" related and all.
If its like the "Mario" one, you may likely already have the 5 things they'll offer, but they're using the word "exclusive" so I guess we won't know til its launched on September 2, 2016:

Man, really gotta get back in here and do some more updates! :nosleep:
Anyway, just wanted to mention for all you Zelda fans that the NYC NWS released the 2nd series of Cel Art and TShirts. They're available now at the store, or, probably more accessible to everyone on the planet, for the low low markup of about 250% on eBay.
I'll post some pics and such once I get a moment...
The first series was actually available at the NWS for a LOoooooong time (and may still be actually), but I don't know if they've kept the same print run for the second cel series until I get mine in later this weekend (or if I can be bothered to google it). Happy Hunting all!

If you haven't watched the livestream pre-order party or checked out their "Collector Club" or even their regular Facebook page, they are giving away (in lottery style) one EXTREMELY rare Skull Kid figurine!
I'll post the link to the FB post once I can but here are the details:
- F4F was the company that made the Skull Kid figurine for the recent Collector's Edition of Majora's Mask 3DS for both EU, NA, and elsewhere. When they originally did the prototype figurine, they mirrored the EXACT coloring scheme that they had used for their F4F Skull Kid Resin Statue. Nintendo came back and said they didn't want those colors or some such business and so Alex and team changed the coloring scheme to match the very vibrant and bright colored ones that many of us got (or didn't get).
- Recently Alex has been going through his "storage" and came across the only prototype in existence of the 3DS CE Skull Kid figurine. He decided he'd give it away to F4F "fans". He signed the bottom of it earlier today and is making it available via lottery to those who do the following:
*Friend request either him (Alex Davis) or Chockles QA on Facebook
*Like the post talking about this offer --> HERE (https://www.facebook.com/First4Figures/?fref=ts)
*Post a comment (can be as simple as "Hi")
That's it! And in two weeks they'll "randomly" pick a name out of those who did the above to win this single exclusive only prototype in existence. :swoon:
Part of me is a little snarky that its going for two weeks because those who are nefarious and don't care can create multiple facebook accounts and hedge their bets. With 2 weeks or so, I could write an algorithm and have it run, even spoofing IP addresses to create thousands of my own accounts to do just that, so it stands to reason that those who have no integrity or have differing scruples/morals than I could do the same -- hopefully at least they'll limit it by IP address, but I don't suspect they're going to do that.
Anyway, just figured I'd mention it here -- though I'd be insanely jealous if any of you got it, I'd be much happier than if someone who cheated or just intended to put it on eBay won it. Best of "luck"!

Hey bud, their livestream (5+ hrs) had all the details, but basically if you ordered the EX edition anytime within the first 12hrs of go-live, you'll be receiving an additional card signed by Alex himself along with the rest of what you've ordered.
Also, isn't that statue GORGEOUS?!??! The pictures on the site are actually from the previous version of Link though, after listening to fan feedback, they went and rehashed him changing his colors, and his head slightly. He looks even better now! :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks Knight! :D A signed card eh? They didn't happen to show it in the stream did they? The statue is gorgeous for sure, I couldn't be happier with it! I got the Exclusive because, hell, if I'm going to pay $500+ for a statue (with S&H), it damn well better light up!
I'll definitely have to make a throwaway Facebook account just for this contest and also put in an entry for for my lady (and one for everyone else in my family...lol no I kid, I kid ;) ). Assuming no one tries out your algorithm idea, about how many entries do you think there could be by the deadline? Just over 500 at this point. Hopefully it stays reasonably low, and any cheaters would be found out if there were suddenly thousands of suspiciously similar posts. :P Best of "luck" to you too bud! lol!

Yeah, they posted the 3 different options to vote for on the FB page for the cards earlier today. They do a lot of voting -- that's actually why its a signature card in the first place I believe. They wanted to do something to reward those who still made ordering right away a priority (like they used to with the limited run sizes) but not make it such a big deal that those who ordered within the original 2-week run later had a drastically different version (like with an additional "exclusive" statue piece or something).
And yeah, nothing wrong with getting your friends, family, and such to chime in for ya -- its just when they're not legitimate people that it becomes an issues. My suggestion to them would be simply rule out anyone whose account was created within the last 24hrs or something, but then I suppose that'd rule out your account which obviously isn't trying to take advantage of the system. I suppose there's a few thousand people that are fans on facebook of both their regular page and their CC club page, though only about 500 or so were on the livestream, so its likely a 1 in 2500 or so chance (plus friends/family/etc.) I'd imagine.

Dropping a small list here so I can try to keep track of things. Knight mentioned the art cels and T-shirts from Nintendo NY already. Thanks for the card update, saw that the other day on their FB account (knew about it for awhile but was waiting for details) but didn't have a chance yet to post here. Thanks for saving me the time!
Stinks that they're just yet another trading card set rather than a playable card game set like was first hinted at.

Yeah, was announced originally just for Australia if I remember right. Now you can buy it in the US too. Right, no gameplay involved, which I agree sucks. With how rare the Gold Foils are, if you want a complete collection you're going to be spending hundreds of dollars on thousands of cards and throwing practically all of them away since duplicates are worthless without a game to play. I think I'll pass. Maybe buy a complete set further down the road when they don't cost much.

Looks like all those art prints on eBay have the same "3 of 6" label, and there don't seem to be any "2 of 6"s yet.
I found an unboxing video for that Mystery Box. There's maybe one thing in there I'd like to have, the rest I would have sold on. Seems to be the way these "box" things go.

Speaking of Kickstarters, you still have a chance to get the limited edition of Zelda: Archive of a Legendary Saga (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thirdeditions/third-editions-books-your-ultimate-gamer-library), but unfortunately you have to buy two other books for a total of 90€ to get the CE instead of the standard edition.
So if anyone wants to buy my copies of the Final Fantasy and/or Dark Souls books let me know! :D
I bought the original French version of this book several years ago, but I don't read or speak French, so an English translation is very welcome.
And so if anyone wants to buy my French version of the Zelda book let me know that as well! ;)

So very true. There's literally been HUNDREDS of items released in the past couple of months and a few more on the way -- we've got a TON of random merchandise (lamps, mugs, keychains, notebooks, etc.), lots of new WoN figures, amiibo, new cel arts and t-shirts, a bunch of new figmas and nendoroids, F4F statues, other figures/statues, etc. etc. With BoTW, there's bound to be more too.
Please feel free to keep updating as you guys can. I really appreciate the help certain members have provided here *cough* Iwatasan *cough* :thumb: :thumb:

How to Play
It's dangerous to go alone. Assemble a team! Players will be seated in teams of 6 during the game. SCRAP staff will help groups of 5 or fewer form teams with other players at the door.
Purchase a ticket for one of the cities on the game tour. Be careful to choose the same day and time as your teammates, or have one person buy all the tickets at once. NOTE: The game's contents will be the same across all cities, meaning it can only be played once!
Arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before your game time. Give yourself enough time for parking and check-in at registration.
Enjoy the introduction from our talented MC, who will explain the game's story and your goal to escape.
During the game, your team will have their own table. This is your base of operations, but you will need to get up and explore the game space in order to find all the clues. Write everything down!
Using the clues, solve all the puzzles in order to escape. Puzzles will take many forms, and some will be tricky. Don't let evil win!
Hey, listen! to the solution walkthrough at the end - just in case you aren't able to escape.
After the game, enjoy a Zelda-themed area with video trailers and special merchandise for sale!
Keep the fun for everyone! Never share game answers or spoilers on the internet so that players in other cities get to enjoy the game the same way that you did.

A: You are welcome to arrive with fewer than 6 people. SCRAP staff will help you form a full team with other players before the game begins.
Q: Is there a minimum age requirement?
A: There is no formal age restriction, though many venues require participants aged 13 and under to be accompanied by an adult. Watch your city's ticket page for any venue age restrictions. Also, because our puzzles can be challenging, we recommend players to be 13 and up - but we very much welcome younger players who love solving puzzles and are up for the challenge!
Q: Do I get something if I win?
A: The prize for finishing is the priceless moment when you finally find the solution and everything falls into place - oh, and bragging rights. Major, major bragging rights. Failure to reach the end, however, is nothing to be embarrassed about. Time is short and the challenge is real.
Q: What happens if we don't finish?
A: Do not worry if you are unable to reach the final step of the game. There will be a full solution walkthrough after time runs out so that everybody knows the final answers.
Q: Is the event wheelchair accessible?
A: While movement is required during the game, it is designed so that everyone can enjoy, including our friends in wheelchairs. However, there is a chance that a specific venue may have accessibility restrictions, so please check your city page for details. If you anticipate needing extra assistance, please contact us (http://scrapzelda.com/contact-us/) so that we may discuss your needs.
Q: Is cosplay allowed?
A: Yes! However, please do not bring any dangerous weapons or costume pieces that could cause injury. We recommend dressing as comfortably as possible. Make sure it is easy for you to search and move around the space.
Q: Is photography allowed?
A: You will be allowed to use your camera during the game to capture clues, BUT please do not upload any spoilers to the internet or social media or tell other people the answers. There will also be photo opportunities after the event in the post-game lounge.
Q: Can I buy Defenders of the Triforce merchandise online?
A: At this time, merchandise will only be sold in-person at the event.
Q: Can I buy tickets as a gift for someone else?
A: Yes, you can! We recommend putting their name on the ticket, but fill out the rest of the contact info with your own data (so that they don’t see the confirmation email and spoil the surprise). Print out the tickets and wrap them up nicely as a great holiday/birthday/anytime gift!
Q: Is food and drink allowed?
A: Each city's venue rules may vary, but as a general rule please do not bring any outside food or drink to the event.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Only service animals are allowed to the event.

Hello. I want to buy the manga books but when i was browsing a couple of european amazons i noticed that there's a legendary and a perfect edition. Can anyone tell me the differences between the two editions? Thanks.

In case anyone missed it, F4F revealed in their documentary the Exclusive version (and Regular version) of the "life-size Majora's Mask" (the 1st in a line of Zelda props). The spikes are magnetic and removable in both versions, the exclusive version has eyes that light up from a switch on the wooden-stump. Both version contain an awesome tree-like stand.
This will go live for pre-order tomorrow at EST 11am (or thereabouts). The live-stream event will begin at 10 EST. Exclusive price I believe is ~$385.

Also, since I hadn't seen it mentioned too many other places, the Arts & Artifacts Limited Edition for the US (not the Japanese version) has been revealed and is pre-orderable at least on Amazon right now.
The price is a bit steep at $79.99 (msrp). It appears to have a slipcover that "unsheathes" the Master Sword when removed. No mention of additional content beyond the cover though. Run size is "limited" to 10,000 copies (pretty big run for a limited book though, even by Zelda standards).

Does the regular version come with the spikes that aren't removable?
No, due to shipping damage possibilities all spikes are removable in both versions. I at first was worried because I liked the idea of a single unit, but after watching the video and hearing the distinct "clunk" when the magnets are put in place, I'm glad they did it that way. Personal preference I guess, but the paint job likely came out much better this way as well.

Just an update regarding the mass-produced F4F PVC Link from BotW, looks like retailers all around the globe are starting to list it. Some in AUS, Japan, and U.K. have already been posted on their collectors club. Alex said that US retailers should be posting theirs sometime soon. I'll probably wait til it's cheap, but just want to give the heads up to everyone here. I'll post links when they're available.

No, they're not selling it from their site they said. This is part of their attempt to get their name out there, and so they're dealing strictly with retailers on this one. Since its not limited in production, that was why I was saying I'll just wait (sure it'll take up space on a shelf somewhere and get discounted like the Together+ ones that F4F had to license from Skyward Sword). Only downside is I don't really want F4F to lose money or have their first attempt be less-than-profitable, but guess we'll see how it goes. But yeah, I was thinking the same thing regarding the reward points! ;)

Ah right... well that sucks... -_- Thoughtthat was the whole idea of having the new loyalty scheme, so people can still be rewarded for non-standard purchases from them! XD Never mind then. Will see what the price point is and will pick up later on. ^^ Still haven't got the Skyward Sword ones yet...

What's interesting is that in addition to being the only retailer that is selling the F4F BoTW Archer Link figure in the US, BestBuy is also selling some figmas and such now -- they just posted the Figma TP Zelda yesterday. I thought there was a deluxe version of that somewhere though, so will hold off on my PO til I know for sure. Usually with these nendoroids and figmas I just get it on Amazon when they drop in price.

I always pre-order my nendoroid figures directly from Good Smile. Atleast I can then ensure the authenticity of the item. Plus if I get any issues with it, I can deal with the manufacturer directly. I even got an extra Princess Zelda from Windwaker last time as one of mine arrived damaged. Was well pleased. She now sits by my telly. :D

Placed an order for the CE guide but I'll cancel if/when that Deluxe version comes out.
Anyone know why Prima isn't doing a guide this time? Cuz they apparently aren't. (https://twitter.com/primagames/status/821385311896928257) It's the end of an era. :(
Edit: $28.08 at Book Depository (https://www.bookdepository.com/Legend-Zelda-Breath-Wild-Complete-Official-Guide/9781911015253). Listing looks kinda sketch at the moment ("Untitled", releases in 12073 days), but add it to your cart and it updates the title and release date ("The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - The Complete Official Guide" releases in 20 days).

Their "second season" Zelda book is dedicated entirely to BotW. The "first season" Zelda book was an overview of the entire series. If you like these books, there was also an original French version of the "season one" Zelda book, though I would doubt it's still available anymore; I picked one up a long time ago thinking it would never be translated into English. :haha: Btw, if anyone wants the "first season" or "second season" collectors editions of Dark Souls or Final Fantasy, let me know.
