I had the same dilemma but the PS4 game is probably the easiest to sell on at a good price if you just want the steel?

I wish I could purchase just the steelbook. Got a digital console copy of the game for $20 because I purchased ESO on PC/Mac when it first released.

if you use a discount code on zavvi it might work out to be cheaper.... saved a few euros on it, since zavvi shipping is low

I queried Zavvi about the rarity of this steelbook due to them saying only 500 available and this was their reply:

You're probably thinking of the ESO Imperial Edition steelbooks that were/are going to be releaed in Australia:

The one from ebgames looks like a jumbo box instead of a regular steelbook

Yeah, I preferred the bottom ones myself and what I had on my "want" list. Would be a shame if they were never made though for place of the "jumbo" looking ones that are all white.

Me and my friend both ordered from Zavvi and are having the same issue. This is completely ridiculous.


Isn't the whole point of pre-ordering is that you get it for release day...

Generally yes but Zavvi seem to live in a different dimension when it comes to these things.... :suicide:

Even Amazon doesn't always guarantee release date delivery though -- probably 75% of the time I don't get my Amazon orders on release date. Really a shame considering they do so many other things right!

Also, if anyone happens to get an EXTRA steelbook for ESO I'm your man! :thumb:

Release date and not been despatched. Never. Order. From. Zavvi.

Canceled my order with Zavvi, they replied to my emails. Basically they're having trouble securing the stock from their supplier so ETA for release is up in the air.

Ordered from Amazon, arrives tomorrow.

I'd cancel your order. I got the PC "steelbook edition" from zavvi and it was just a bog standard copy of the game and a g2 steelbook seperate (both inside a card envelope like yourself).
