Crysis 2 Limited Collector's Edition for PS3 and 360

Recently some photos have appeared online for an upcoming Limited Collector's Edition of Crysis 2. Apparently the LCE will be available in Europe on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 (as well as the PC) for a price of 158?.

The listing only appeared briefly on a Swedish game site before being taken down but details included the following content:




a 46 cm x 34 cm Nano-suit bag

a 20 cm wide Prophet statue

a 176-page premium art book

immediate access to higher ranks and unlockable items

an exclusive #2 Dogtag

a SCAR hologram

SCAR Camouflage and additional content.

A SteelBook case with "unique" painting

Release date was listed as simply "November 2010" we will post more details we we get them.

Confirmation of the Steelbook will be appreciated - not sure why they release promotional pics that don't show it clearly :(

it listed "Steelbook" as a feature so unless they change it from now until release I'd say it's pretty well confirmed.

The Nano Edition is up for pre-order on the EA Store site for PC and Xbox 360. I think the PS3 version being left off in the USA is a mistake. I had to contact EA in order to have the PC listing fixed so that I could order it. I would suggest anyone in the US intersted in the PS3 Nano Edition to contact EA at 1-866-543-5435.

I wonder if Nano edition will end up like Dead Space Limited Edition. Also why is PC price the same as Xbox360. Typically PC should be $10 cheaper. Nevertheless I am tempted to get one.

For the Dead Space one I think they already had the disclaimer of a limited run when the preorders went up, so doubt that will be the case. Either way, at least this one actually has some good stuff in it to come close to justifying the price :/

I tried the link and search the UK and USA website.

The ~UK has the PC version only and the USA one has none,

Am I missing something here. I'm not spending £130 for a PC version.

I have been on the EA site and it seems to automatically detect your region. As I am from the UK, I can only view the UK store, where the only Nano Edition available is for the PC.

I am unable to view the US store, despite attempting to change the site language to American - It just diverts me back to the UK site


I presume that EA here in the UK have yet to add the PS3 and X360 versions to the site for pre-order until closer to the time. Either that, or they have been sold out on pre-orders already and subsequently removed...

Have the exact same problem, it's unlikely they have run out this quickly, has anyone e-mailed the UK store yet to find out what's going on.
