I really wanna believe in this. I love the design of the statue and Mirror's Edge is one of my most beloved games of last gen, but I don't think even a $200 price tag will make the statue great. I mean, Triforce sells their 12" LBP statues at $200 price by themselves. They have roughly $120 to work with for this CE.

Nice, as soon as it's available here it's getting ordered, although I'm a bit iffy about Triforce being attached to it tbh.
I mean, TLoU PPE was really nice but DA:I, despite my long post trying to make everyone feel a little better about being shafted so badly, was shit; the AK LE statue, I don't like because it looks and feels pretty cheap, also the lights, besides being a gimmick that'll never be used again, now that I've seen them in the dark, it's badly designed and all you really see when they're on are some big, not very detailed, bat-titties and now that I've accepted that the Batmobile was canned, I'm getting more pissed off with every day that passes and there's still silence on it all. It's been, what, three weeks since we knew it was scrapped and there's nothing? That's taking the piss in my book.

Disagree with the value of the first game though, I put soooooo many hours into the time trials and speed runs. Got in the top 50 in the world on some stages :D loved the campaign as well.

I guess this will be similar to Dragon Age Inquisitor's Edition. It will be box of stuff and game separate or somewhere to slot into. Both are made by Triforce anyway, most likely the reason why it shows it like that. Probably will be able to pick up the CE content by itself without game too.

Fucking Project Triforce strikes again...

The game I've been wanting to come out for years and the one I'm most looking forward to now and look at the state of that if it is representative of what we'll end up with. (They're previous early displays like this do seem to show a reasonably accurate representation of the final product at least.)

But companies really need to stop using them.
I know I defended the DA:I box but that was more out of desperately wanting to find good points as it was that bad if I didn't do that I would've bloody cried but these clowns have to be one of the most inconsistent bunch around.

I mean, TLoU was good and the Halo 5 one was reasonable at least but everything else (including this by the look of it)? An absolute joke.

And I'm still a bit pissed off with them/WB about being spineless and claiming they'd say more about the Batmobile Edition of Arkham Knight and then no explanation coming of it.

I think from now I'll make a point of not buying anything with their name on it, it's just not worth the risk at the price they want.

No chance, the shippers are sometimes listed in amounts per store/country/region, so that bundle would be /200, but another one may say /5000 or whatever :) x

It IS a Project Triforce CE. Their last few have been pretty poor (or just not released like the Batmobile one). Maybe they like shiny hair and deformed faces.

I am not convinced still seems as bad as in the pictures.

If you are banking on the Amazon discount, then hold off until ordering until we gets some more unboxings and reviews. Also, the discount works up to two weeks after the release; I don't see this being sold out so you would be fine.

Bear in mind that video is by GameStop who are trying to sell it so whilst I don't want to be overly cynical, I wouldn't doubt for a second that they'll only show you the absolute best views of it to shift more units.

You can still see the derpy (easiest way to describe it) faces closer to the end and it still doesn't look great in my opinion from the other angles.


I've been thinking about it a lot lately and I think I'm going to cancel mine. The statue is an absolute joke and I can see it hitting sub £100 in Game before too long. (Just like bloody Halo 5 getting down to £80...)

Definitely skipping the ce... I did order the mirrors edge controller.
Its absolutely gorgeous. Very happy with it. And the fact that its numbered gives a nice touch to it ^^ I hope to one day have both mirrors edge steelbooks though.. i mean this one is gorgeous like the old one from spain. too bad yeah. the rest of the ce is not so gorgeous at all

Cancelled mine the other week and I'm so pleased I did.

I hope the game does well but the CE absolutely crashes and burns. I'd only consider it at about £80 due to that statue; it's is an absolute embarrassment, whomever had any part in making that needs a good firing so that they don't ruin the CE of any other games in the future.

The CE box is actually heavier than I though, shaped black and red, I almost dropped it today. The clerck at EB Games seems to love the statue despite the bad critics of it (from girls at least)

Never though I'd saw Pip Boy edition in store again :P

Got mine today, quite impressed with it actually. The statue is reasonably well detailed and damned heavy. Props to GAME for packing it well. It feels well made, heavy cardboard box that fits together snugly, super tight fitting styrofoam with the game name actually printed on it. Sweet steelbook. The cards/lithos are well printed on heavy paper/card in thick black envelopes. Can't really speak for the tattoos as I wont be applying them (if I get a Mirrors Edge tattoo It'll be a real one. )

The statue doesn't really look as bad as I thought. From up close, you can tell that the build quality of the characters isn't the greatest. But, I have it up high on a shelf and it looks fine from a distance. It's pretty big too, and the base is pretty heavy.
