Is it pissing everybody off though, or is just making everybody happy as now everybody has gwent cards. :D I think the only people it will piss of is the collectors and people on this forum that collect exclusively for one platform...

Maybe the sales of the XO version were not good enough for this, despite the marketing deal with Microsoft for The Witch Hunt. The XO in general isn't that strong in europe.

CD Project wouldn't be the first with a move like this.

I called my local GameStop and the guy on the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I've also posted a couple of inquiries on the official Witcher 3 forums, but haven't received a response back on those either. We seem to be the only region so far that doesn't have this limited edition available for pre-order. I'll keep the forum posted if I get any progress!

Well, that's some good news, thanks! I agree with the retailer-specific DLC stuff. They're getting out-of-hand with it, and very rarely are the special offers worth the hassle.

I purchased an expansion pass for Xbox One from Best Buy yesterday. I redeemed the code on my Xbox account from my PC. I've never done this before, but everything seemed to have worked just fine. However I don't see anything when I turn on my console that confirms I have the Witcher 3 Season Pass. Is this normal? Will the expansions show up when they are released? Also I didn't know that the GCU discount does not apply to expansion pass dlc's.

Go to your "My Games & apps", go to The Witcher 3(by hovering over it, pressing "A" will launch it), press start, go to "Manage Game" and you should see all your DLC and expansion pass on that page.

Thanks for your help! I found the expansion pass by doing this and selecting "Show all add-ons". When I select the expansion pass from this screen, the only options available are "Manage" and "Pin". I assume the option to purchase would show if my code did not go through.

I received the code for the Gwent card set within 24 hours of submitting the form and placed my order.

I'm almost positive you're right about the price. Each day that passes its looking worse to me and I wouldn't be surprised if they charge 40. I'm really getting fed up, I've wanted Gwent cards ever since I found out about them but I'm a ps4 gamer so I got screwed. Now I can't even secure a preorder in my own country.

I think its important to note that this pack is just for the first DLC that will cost $10 by itself, you will not be getting the $25 season pass and the cards for $20. I would be pleased if they charged $40 and gave me the season pass.

So no Gwent cards for me today :(

I just got into my store there is an update that basically the cards will be here next week and they will sell for $19.99 the PS4 version is not exclusive and it contains a code in the box. The Xbox one is GameStop exclusive, there is no code in the box but if you buy a code at the same time you will pay $10 for the code and $10 for the cards.

Yes this sounds about right. I got confirmation from that senior dev (and again confirmed on their forums last night) that GS was supposed to be putting this up on their site last night, but seems like they then released another statement just saying they were "working on it".

I did not hear that the PS4 was not GS exclusive though, that's news!

Your first link is actually the Xbox One version/Cards with no DLC that I was talking about earlier. That's why it show the price as reduced from 29.98. (19.99 for the cards, 9.99 for the DLC code)

Your DLC needs to be the same region as the game.

Your profile doesn't matter because you can work around it, for example Onechanbara, I got the R1 Banana Split version. Thanks guys! :thumb: I will download the free DLCs and buy the European Heart of Stone and install it in my R2 (Europe) PSN account, and play the game from my R1 (NA) PSN account.

Thanks guys! :thumb: I will download the free DLCs and buy the European Heart of Stone and install it in my R2 (Europe) PSN account, and play the game from my R1 (NA) PSN account.

Your Game Save file will only work with the same region disc sorry. It was the same for PS3 games.
