For 130€ (or 140€?) the statue is hopefully with some decent quality. And the metalcase should be a steelbook. If I remember correctly they announce a metalcase for the Fallout 4 CE which turned out to be a steelbook. Fingers crossed that this is also the case here.

Just ordered on Amazon. Didn't have to give them the full amount (like BethStore requires) AND saved $24. Even if the quality is a mediocre TriForce build, $35 for a statue and metal case of some sort is a pretty good deal.

I'll probably leave it in the box anyway, ordered. They should have done a Space Marine chainsawing or ripping the eye out of a monster, like in the trailer. Something iconic to the game instead of generic monster #33.

According to an gameware.at employee Bethesda will produce significant less CEs from this game as the Pip-Poy-Edition for Fallout. It's also completely sold out on their store and they won't get more.

It is TriForce and after seeing the quality of the Mirror's Edge statue, I am doubting the quality of this. It is clearly not very limited as it still hasn't sold out. Just not feeling it with this CE.

I am not entirely decided, but it is likely.

As for the beta, I enjoyed it, but I wasn't addicted yet. Going to give the open beta a try before finally deciding, I think.

The Best-Buy Gold Editions are just a physical bundle of the game and Season Pass...The bonus to this comes from the 20% discount you get if you have Best-Buy's "Gamers Club Unlocked". With GCU you get 20% ALL new games (doesn't have to be a New Release) this includes Collector's Editions and Gold Editions. If it's a an unopened game then you get 20% off. A lot of times you will get an additional $10 in Reward Zone points if you preordered the game. Think about a $60 game, minus $12 (20% discount) plus $10 back. Your basically paying $38 for a new realease game; it's really the best deal in gaming. The only thing that you won't get 20% off of is Hardware and Season Passes (Exception being the Gold Editions that include a Season Pass).

For those into steel books, Best Buy has an Exclusive UAC bundle for $79 (after GC Unlocked) that includes the game in its original case + Season Pass + Steel Book that is different than the one in the CE with the statue.

Yup, I picked it up when I went to pick up my CE...there weren't many though and it was exclusive to Bestbuy. If you don't already have it I would totally recommend getting their Gamers Club Unlocked. It's only $30 a year a you save 20% on ALL newgame purchases (not just New Releases like Amazon) plus you get bonuses (like $10 in Reward Zone points) on almost all pre-orders.

Despite saying I wouldn't buy it, I ended up buying the CE because I couldn't pass up paying about $35 for a statue and steelbook (and an unboxing video showed the statue to be pretty decent!). Statue is pretty decent, I like it. Quality is fine, the smell from the paint is atrocious though. Needs to air out!

The US CE contains no normal game case, just the steelbook with the disc and pieces of paper inside the steelbook. I hate this trend. :(

The lights and moving fan are pretty cool (and unexpected for the price) touches. Overall, I can't complain about it. Had it been priced like the Mirror's Edge CE at $199, then I'd have a problem with it.
