For anyone interested bestbuy has the Titanfall 2 collector's edition (the one with the helmet) up on its site. It comes with the game as well. I mention this because bestbuy had the extras for sale on their site without the game (no gcu discount applied to that one tho because no game was included.)

Earlier today the GCU discount was not working, but as of now it is. However for it to show up, sign in first, then add it to the cart. The other way did not work earlier and if your not signed in it doesn't even mention the gcu discount on the product page like it does on all other games.

I've never been a fan of busts. They just look silly to me.

I feel the same way about regular style busts (like the gaming heads Kratos for example) but this bust is more statue like then bust (more like the Fallout 4 Power armor Bust which is more of a half statue rather then a bust... just missing the lower half instead of being just he chest and no back at all).

While I do want to see that helmet... I think at the same time is will be a bit gaudy to display.

Are you sure? It seems that DLC was in both. The description of the bonuses are identical except one says "early access" and the other says "3-day early access".

I see now, it is like the Battlefield 1 versions... one is deluxe and one not. Really though for most part you are just buying the early 3 days access to a free map in December and as you said some minor DLC for $20 (which is silly). Here is the DLC:

If the bust was available on Amazon (for the 20% off) I'd likely keep it... maybe... but I'm not a big fan of the helmet, and even with the 20% off I can think of several better ways to spend my money. Guess I've got another day or two to decide, but its likely going the way of the GOW4 CE for me...

Yeah I am cancelling the helm at one I pre-ordered (did it just in case). The helmet is neat but it looks like it will be just a thin plastic type shell from the videos (it looks decent but a bit too gomy for me.. I would love to unbox it but as yo said even with Prime it is $200).

So I decided to go with the GameStop version with the bust as that has a better chance of me really liking and keeping it. Also I agree, I wish the bust edition was on Amazon as well (I hate retailer exclusive nonsense).

Well I am worried now as mine has yet to show as shipped (would need to ship today to get here for tomorrow).

ALSO just search GameStop to find all of the Marauder Editions (the GS exclusive bust one) are unavailable... so either it is somewhat good news that they are far rarer then the helmet or they had an issue with production (please not that one, at least tell us in advance so we can buy the other one or the regular game).

Hopefully I am worrying for nothing and I get the shipped notice soon :beg:

It did ship late last night and will be here today :D Glad to see that, I am pretty excited to start playing. This is the one shooter I really enjoy playing online for whatever reason... I am much better at Titanfall then any other FPS, not sure why. Also I like the setting much better then CoD.

Ubisoft did the same thing for Europe with that edition of Watch Dogs 2. The explanation they gave us was because they would not be able to fulfill the production numbers on time for the release of the game, so they prefer to release the entire stock they are able to produce in the US only and ignore the rest of the world.

When things like this happen, usually it's because there's a problem with one of the items and they are forced to cancel the edition. It's not the game companies that produce additional items and bonuses like statues and whenever the maker doesn't meet the expectations in terms of quality, they cancel it. This is what happened to the Batmobile Edition of Arkham Knight. However, the entire stock was cancelled, not just the one available for a few countries.

When they cancel the edition for a particular set of countries, they are just being a******* and want to move their entire stock to their most successful markets and they hardly ever offer a reasonable explanation because they don't want to further damage their image by telling the truth.

Big companies suck big time.

Amazon US actually. It arrived on Thursday. The box is massive but light (overwatch collectors is much heavier).
Game was housed separately from the collectors as well. It had a small slot for it in the shipping cardboard they used which means you can play the game without unsealing your collectors.
