I had this type of concern some time ago because of FFXV Ultimate edition so I've contacted Square about the payments and this was the answer I received:

Thank you for contacting the Square Enix EU Online Store Support.

If the first payment attempt fails, we will send another one a few days, and a third and last one few days after the second attempt, if unfortunately the final attempt fails too, the cancel will be automatically cancelled. Please note you will be notified each time our payment system will perform these actions.

If you have any question, do not hesitate contacting me.

I had this type of concern some time ago because of FFXV Ultimate edition so I've contacted Square about the payments and this was the answer I received:

This is what happens, however as they told me payment would be no earlier than 10 days before release, I wasn't keeping an eye on my emails. So those emails went out to me on the 13th, 15th and 17th, when payment should have only started on the 18th. So when I checked on the 19th the most recent one was a cancellation :( x

That edition is stupidly expensive for the contents it has and probably super fragile as well, so this should be a common issue. Not worth the price. I wasn't expecting it to be sold out. I'll wait to find a 2nd hand copy or just skip it. I usually hate when I miss on the best edition for a game I want but this time I'm not that concerned for some reason.

The Limited Edition seems to be the default version in Portugal and it is fully in English. The store I visited only had the LE for the PS4 and Day One Edition for Vita. Both priced at 59eur and 39eur respectively.

I quite like this edition. It's smart and a nice idea. As somebody said though, £100 price tag is a little steep for the contents. :S Either way I'm not fussed. I liked the look of the game and bit the bullet on the CE and I'm quite pleased with it. :D
