I can't remember exactly, I only know that both steelbooks are golden and on the back of the one from Kesko there is the Flag of Finland (I have seen that steelbook in pictures), maybe on the back of the steelbook from game.se there is the flag of Sweden.

Halo wars has two steels the one i just got has no slipcover so it has the product info on the front it has no artwork inside also halo wars is colored just like the spine and is not debossed.

Test drive has two aswell the ps2 version doesn't have a bike on the front the back has different photos and the artwork is different on the inside.

you know what else GENMAI!!?..that invaluable French member also got his hands on the RAYMAN LEGENDS G1 steelbook..at the cusp of the WII U "exclusivity" announcement, he had entire case loads..super "minty" and all..but when at the last minute UBISOFT announced the postponement of the WII U game release and said that RAYMAN LEGENDS was going multi-platform..the member had to "cancel" the group buy and was forced to return the steelbooks, because UBISOFT had ordered a recall..i think this French member was good friends with a manager of a large game software retailer in FRANCE..because he was always getting the good stuff at great deals!! i even got the FRENCH SSX G1 snowboarding game steelbook..that is now considered "rare and uncommon" again, from these very same forums at the "normal retail" price..i sure miss having that French member around..over the past couple of years...i think he only popped in "once" onto the forums..even though he was very active around 2009-2014 but it's clear to me, that he's moved on in life...but stay tuned! because other forum members also have excellent contacts and they have big hearts, willing to help..because a few years back..i got the very rare Australia XBOX360 exclusive "SUPER CARS V8" steelbook that was a bonus for a XBOX 360 Forza game...it's considered nowadays a true rare steelbook..and i am soo happy to have it in my collection, thanks to a AUSTRALIAN forum member back then willing to lend a helping hand! Battlefield Bad Company Gold Edition (EU) (PC,XB360) The Australian version of this for both Xbox PS3 are different because of the rating logo, the gold edition had to be moved up a bit on Xbox and for PS it's on the outer edge of the steelbook. Don't think a PC version of this exists.

Darkness II Limited Edition (Asia) (PS3) Darkness needs to be moved from D to T category as it's called The darkness and the Asian steelbook is available for xbox 360 aswell and it appears to have a darker shade of red then the ps3 version

Saints Row Steelbook Edition (EU) (PC,XB360) This needs to be changed It was only released in France and The Netherlands the latter has a few differences on the back. I've never seen a pc copy and don't think it exists.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition: To clear this up a bit the US version is labeled as collector's edition in the UK it's Limited edition and for Germany it's special edition. The steelbooks are all the same it's just the slipcovers that are different.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition: To clear this up a bit the US version is labeled as collector's edition in the UK it's Limited edition and for Germany it's special edition. The steelbooks are all the same it's just the slipcovers that are different.

Mass Effect 2 Collector’s Edition (NA) The EU version steelbook has a slightly different spine than the NA one and It's available for PC

Battlefield Bad Company Gold Edition (EU) (PC,XB360) The Australian version of this for both Xbox PS3 are different because of the rating logo, the gold edition had to be moved up a bit on Xbox and for PS it's on the outer edge of the steelbook. Don't think a PC version of this exists.

You mention the Assassins Creed Auditore Edition. The only one I know of is for Brotherhood and doesn't include a steelbook. Does anyone have a link for it?

Could someone verify? This question has never been answered and I came across the same issue. Not aware of another Auditore Edition beside the Brotherhood one (which doesn't include a steelbook)

The steelbook is the one that has Ezio on one side and Altair on the other.

It is very common, especially in Australia to package the game with the bonus steelbook and give it a random edition name. EBGames and JBHifi have been doing it for years. In fact I believe they have done it for almost every Ubisoft release. The last 3-4 far cry games had it, they have been doing it for years for AC.

All of our steelbook lists are missing edge case editions like these and a lot of accurate store information. I attempted to try to fix it last year but gave up after like 50-60 changes. It simply was too time consuming to dig up all that info.

It is also important to note that when the steelbook offered with the game is a bonus (i.e. you aren't charging extra for it), the stores are not required to acquire a license, even to print an entirely new design. There is that dark side to what we consider "official" steelbooks here. For the steels, we try to track them because at the end of the day it is a different design. However, these made up "semi-official" editions aren't really worth tracking explicitly. They appear on the website for a few weeks under that name and then disappear, which is why you are having a hard time finding info. If you really want to find a reference to it, you are going to have to revert JB's website to a snapshot version from 2009

I completely agree. The only time it matters is to track provenance of a rare steelbook but if the steelbook is offered in multiple stores it's not gonna be rare in the first place so that info will just cause unnecessary clutter.

Thank you for this information, really good to know! indeed the issue here seems to be the store's titles. Regarding this particular steelbook I think I found a quite reliable source (https://web.archive.org/web/20210508182203/http://www.esperino.com/assassins-creed-brotherhood-saga-box-steelbook) which mentioned it was released in Australia as the 'AC Brotherhood Saga Box steelbook' and was later expanded to selected European (incl. Amazon/GER ?) retailers as a PC exclusive, presumably under the name 'Ezio Trillogy'?
