Hi,

last summer I ordered the The Last of Us clicker statue from GamingHeads which is supposed to be "Highly limited to 350 pieces worldwide."

It hasn't sold out yet, which is kind of a bad sign for me.

I didn't pay anything yet, but I went for the 3 month payment plan and now they want to charge me. However, I am starting to wonder if anyone else thinks this statue is pretty overpriced. Shipping is 50$ as well, so I am not quite sure whether or not I want it anymore. I'd love to own it, but it's actually a lot of money for a statue that doesn't even seem to be official (?).

Please let me know what you guys think.

Gaming Heads statues rarely sell out while on pre-order. I think it is because people are not so confident with what they will make. Some of their statues had a bad paint job in the end. (the Keeper, Lara Croft survivor, Tali for example)
I think people prefer to see how the final product will look before buying.
Have you joined the gaming Heads collective on facebook? They sometimes show updates on their products.

Yeah, I have only ever bought one statue from them. It was a Prtal Turret Exclusive. The paint job on it (which was mostly white) was really bad! >.< So many blemishes in the paint. >.< Was not impressed... -_- Don't think I'll rush to buy another of their statues. :(

Personally, whilst clickers are a fundemental of the game, they are frankly not that great to look at on a shelf.

Would scare the shit outta my little ones, so would stay in a box forever and a day, so like many people I speak to clickers don't have the size of a market that an Ellie or a joel statue would. Or even a Bill !

I own their Kratos on throne, ESO breton and Skyrim nightingale. The two first are amazing pieces with highly detailed paint job, while the latter is ok, but could have had a better paint job.
With Gaming Heads, it is hit and miss. Some of their statues are amazing, some others are average.
I'd say wait till it is released to see how it looks before buying. Unless you are a super big fan who wants to make sure to get one. But, seriously, I don't think it will sell-out before release. I mean, it's a clicker, it's not Joel and Ellie...
