Yeah that's shit in fairness. That means I will have to order the collectors editions or whatever to get the steels. Or order from America, but then I don't think the season pass will work.

I assume you can change the Region in the Xbox Store (to US) temporarily, then redeem your codes after this return to original Region and done. ;)

On ps4 you need to create an US account, redeem code and download the dlc. You'll be able to play the dlc on every account but it'll work only with your US copy of the game.

Assassin's Creed steels can also be obtained for a cheap price a little while after launch, since they're so common. I remember the AC Syndicate steel (which didn't release in NA) cost me like $20 shipped a couple of months after the game came out.

Maybe something to keep in mind for anyone paying a premium to import the steelbook edition from NA.

I really hope people don't end up overpaying for that green AC Origins steel from the legendary dawn of the creed edition, since we'll be able to get that same steel at launch from the regular dawn of the creed edition lol.

The steel and statue shipped as soon as you ordered the game (probably to stop people cancelling) and the game ships on release.

Legendary and regular Dawn Of Creed editions both come with the same steelbook. However, most of the physical content of the legendary editon has already been shipped while the regular edition with all it's content won't ship before the official release in october. So those who bought the legendary edition are able to already sell the steels on eBay. Don't fail for it.

That's crazy, considering that the Dawn of the Creed edition is still in stock at Ubisoft store, so anyone who wants one can get it at market price. Scalpers are probably trying to take advantage of the unfortunate collectors who live in one of the regions where Ubisoft store doesn't ship.
