If I'm understanding the forum messages about it on GameFAQs, it's about a cow that kidnaps humans... which is likely incorrect, but has certainly peaked my curiousity.

And as usual GameFAQs has failed me! According to WikiPedia it is a RPG.:

Well I don't know how to describe this game. There are battles but you can win battles without actually fighting and just talking. Story is about a boy that got "kidnapped" by a cow. Part of the story is vague and not conclusive thus people have a lot of fan theory of how things actually turned out or how it began or what the entire story action represents.

Personally I hate this game. I was almost bored to death playing it because of how the game actually gives no suspense and everything is flat toned.

I can't decide if I want to get this. I haven't played the game, but I am intrigued to try it. Seems like a waste of money to buy the game then buy this since it comes with a copy of the game, but if I hate the game, I don't want this CE.
