Yep, got my 'Scorpio Edition' secured at EB & pre-ordered another from the MS store just in case.

I wanted to pre-order one, but I just can't justify $500 out of pocket and not have anything for 3 months. I like pre-ordering from Gamestop on games because I can out $10 down (20%) and not have to pay for 6 months until it comes out, but they don't do the same for consoles.

Why not preorder at the MS Store or Gamestop.com (Amazon is currently sold out)? Neither charge until shipment.

Gamestop was sold out of the Scorpio edition when I checked. MS Store has charged me in the past up front for preorders, so my trust level isnt so great with them right now.
