Can you or someone else fill me in on these GEO steelbooks? I know they are in Japan, but, do forum members here get these? IIRC GEO is a online retailer exclusive to Japan that doesn't do international shipping... How do people on this forum get their steelbooks?

A couple of forum members with Japanese contacts have helped me out with importing them in the past.

Also, all these GEO steels appear on eBay for a price similar to the cost of importing them (around 50-70 usd). Have gotten my past few steels from there.

Not even 100% original.
The outside back is the front of the EU/US version with some text added over and inside, the disc holder side is the front and verse of the GEO version combined.

I will add it to the G2-list if the artwork will be different compared to the other RE 2 steelbooks which are already announced.

I buy a lot of stuff from Japan through a forwarder. But to be honest, when you factor in the cost of the steelbook + shipping + fee + shipping to you + import fees, you will not be spending much less than you would on ebay. Ebay prices for new GEO steelbooks are reasonable imo.

I agree.
Between buying the game in GEO, shipping costs, fees etc it ends up at the 50/60€, that is the value you can get several GEO steelbooks at ebay.
