Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu*****. I really love that statue and could see myself displaying it, but for that price I honesty wouldn't consider this CE at all. Too expensive for just a bust and a steelbook.

I've gotten twice as much for half the cost in a CE.

maybe they will OVERPRODUCE like they usually do for AAA big name titles...you can probably pick it up for HALF PRICE a few months post release..a lot of these expensive jumbo collector editions end up sitting on shelves at retailers collecting dust..and then a bit later, you can find them on ebay for real cheap too!...plus the finished release product RARELY looks as good as the marketing and prototype pictures..don't pay retail..it's a mass produced cumbersome jumbo box priced like a gaming console...it'll be on SALE soon after release!

Last 3 CE's I bought (as duplicates) were just that - except I waited a year and got them for 1/4 the price or less for new... Wolfenstein, Deus Ex, Mafia 3... they overproduce and can't sell.

There are couple real-life photos of this CE. And its seems it will be 20000. Thats a lot and i expect the price to drop by 50% soon after release. Also seems that Premium edition steelbook(left one) is different then CE one (right)

Oh god, not even a Steelbook, but crappy Futurepak. I will steer clear. Since Amazon also uses the word SteelCASE (not SteelBOOK) on premium edition, it seems only place to get an actual Steelbook from is from Game.co.uk.

I was in Game over the weekend and it looks pretty good from a distance but up close (maybe anywhere closer than six feet or so) it looks, not so fantastic, shall we say. One of the guys I talk to when I'm in let me hold it and check it out and oh, boy does it feel cheap.

What really doesn't help is that the hood has a textured pattern on the outside and the gold mask is nice enough but it seems rather cheaply molded so there's nothing going on inside which adds to the issue of seeming not great from any reasonably close distance. You might think that's just nitpicking but when a considerable portion of the mask is designed in such a way that you can easily see inside to a large area unless you light it just right, it detracts significantly from it.

Actually holding it too it caught me off guard at first how light and plasticky it felt.

If this was one of those editions that tends to be around £120 nowadays it might not seem as bad at all and might actually be pretty cool but when you think that this is listed as £280(!!!) it's absolutely inexcusable in my opinion and in fact, might be one of the best examples of recent times in my mind for showing the reason(s) why I've went off many collector's editions.

I prefer to only get one steelbook for franchises. It helps with controlling my spend, and making my collection more meaningful to me. I've always thought of the MK9 one as the definitive one, but this one seems limited so...
