Any news if this is a Nintendo store exclusive? Nintendo of America really needs to step their game up. Nintendo of Europe is killing it with these steelbooks.

As far as I know, the Brilliant Diamond / Shiny Pearl steelbook was first listed at Nintendo UK and was later also available from many other retailers such as Amazon and Fnac in Europe. The chances are good that this will also be the case with this Steelbook.

Yea..i can't remember the last time where a Switch genuine Nintendo steelbook was unveiled in 1 PAL territory that wasn't unleashed in every other "European" country.

i hope this isn't a "matte finish", it needs a glossy clearcoat!...they are more prone to scratches.

I don't think they are more prone. I think it's just that the glossy finish hide the scratches better. In addition glossy finish cracks, especially in the corners. Look at pretty much any Ubisoft steelbook under a strong light. Stopped buying their gold and ultimate edition steelbooks just because of that

Are there South Korean exclusive Steelbooks for other Pokemon games? I know I have all the UK/US/Etc Pokemon Steels, but I wasn't aware of any SK exclusive ones.

Not that I am aware of,..I was speaking in general terms how for Switch a majority of the Nintendo “First Party” steelbooks that PAL territories receive there’s been South Korea exclusive variant designs..but nothing for Pokemon that I’m aware of!

there's that one "infamous guy" on Ebay that has been consisted in the past year or two selling the Korean exclusive switch steelbook alongside the Korean version of the games..i've always gone to him on Ebay..because i can't think of any other option for me other than to pay the mark up on Ebay and pre-order with that one seller on Ebay.
