is that a "placeholder" picture for BEST BUY? or is that plain black background design the ACTUAL steelbook design!!!?? and motif?..because if this is it!..then the GAMESTOP version is leaps and bounds better looking!

This is the final design. There is way too much texture on the background for it to be a placeholder

such a lazy week design from BEST BUY for a major AAA blockbuster title and a popular vibrant colorful character and world like Sonic and the Green Hill Zone etc...the colors should have "popped" with traditional Sonic Blue etc..not some dull black & white uninspired looking steelbook..as a Big Sonic fan and steelbook collector, i feel let down!

tmp, i wonder if the AMAZON UK version is a true variant? exclusive to them?..or the same one available in the US Markets?..what sucks! about Amazon is that it will be very highly likely it will be packaged in a "paper mailer" or "bubble mailer" and a steelbook is so fragile and prone to scratches and dings..i have to think twice about purchasing steelbooks from Amazon because of their fragile state.

i am disappointed in the AMAZON UK steelbook offering, similair to the "let down" that BEST BUY is offering,..it is so "basic" in design looks like minimal effort was put in to it...i mean this is supposed to be a big AAA holiday release..especially with SONIC known for vibrant blue & green colors..so not sure!? what's going on here!?..with these muted depressing colors..not to mention such a plain uninspired design....
