US to get new PS2 Toy Story 3 bundle

SCEA’s announced a new PS2 bundle for the US, featuring Toy Story 3: The Videogame.



The pack will feature a PS2 Slim and Toy Story 3 game, and will release on October 31 for $99.99.

After ten years, PS2’s still going. Just. Looks like there’s no end in sight, in the near future at least.

Although with PS2 games finally making their way to PSN (http://www.vg247.com/2010/10/20/god-of-war-collection-to-be-released-on-playstation-store/), the ageing hardware may finally about to visit the great console restroom in the sky.

There isn't much game coming out for PS2. I don't see why Sony should bother with this. They could have market the PS2 against Wii, but their management just to stupid to see it. I can see lots of potential shovelware & perhaps import for PS2 system. LOL

It's amazing that it has been ten years for the PS2. Wow. They could've bundled something better for the 10-Year anniversary, but it's a good deal if you're looking for a PS2. I'm in the market for a PS2, but only of the Japanese persuasion. :)
