Yeah - MW 1 Prestige Edition never came down in price, I do remember Aliens vs Preadators Hunter Edition and Ninja Gaiden 2 stigma Collector's Edition falling in price 6 weeks after release, I think they were HMV exclusives.

I guess it depends on how many them make, They should have learned from the last Killzone Collector's Edition that over producing is a waste if time.

I don't know where or when you saw that, but it still shows up as £112.33 on the page I am looking at right now...

If they did drop it to £99, then I would have received an eMail as their policy states that if you pre-order something and they lower the price and it then goes back up, then they have to sell it to you at the lower price.


I never quite understood why retailers list items at a high price and then constantly drop the price before it's even released? Are they that desperate for pre-orders? I can kind of understand a price drop a few weeks after release if a specific item hasn't been selling well, but months before it comes out is just strange...

Still, it's now below £100 which is good news! Another £10-£20 off and it might actually become the first bargain of the year! Mind you, if it's anything like the Halo 3 Legendary Edition, even that might be too much to pay for what is essentially a cheap lump of moulded plastic

Exactly, the price is a bit out of whack, but is there a possibility that these KZ3 steelbooks will become rare like the Spanish Mirror's Edge steelbook? If so, it may be worth the investment, but I honestly have no clue on availability.

I received the Steelbook version yesterday from Game and I'm still waiting on the HMV Helghast edition to arrive. It was loaded onto the delivery van about 6 hours ago and still no sign of it.

Damn fine game though, it's just a shame the PS3 controller just doesn't handle as well as the 360 controller.

The edition is NA I believe, but can be won from anywhere (except the site i put in my OP, which is only US). I asked one of the GG staff who frequent the KZ3 forums about it, but he couldn't provide me with any further information :(

My edition is between those it's not that dark your's is but it's not that shiny from the other picture also..

Ah, i guess that makes sense then. They must of used that one to make it look nicer in the promo pictures.

I have noticed in several pictures on google that some of them look shiny while others are darker but it's possibly just the lighting.
