Duke Nukem Forever to get Balls of Steel Edition

CE.o member Anjelaoni posted up info about a rumored "Balls of Steel" Edition of the upcoming Duke Nukem Forever. First rumored on a French Duken Nukem forum it seems that a German retailer (http://zockerrampe.de/) is already taking pre-orders for the edition on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

The edition is rumored to be limited to only 2,000 units and include the following:

Slated for May 3rd no price has been confirmed nor any info as to whether this edition will be available outside of Europe. We will post more details when they become available.

It looks like they are basing the 2000 quantity off the certificate in the sample image. Anyway, glad US is getting this release as well.

Something doesn't seem right, as ShopTo.net had this edition up on their site a good few days before HMV.

HMV have it for £64.99, and ShopTo at £64.85. GAME also have it, but their price is £74.99! I'm going to Tweet them and see if they will match the price

I can no longer find the Balls Of Steel Edition available on the HMV site. ShopTo.net still have it for £64.85 though...

Received my Duke Nukem Forever - Balls Of Steel Edition just now, and I must say... The promotional pictures are indeed deceiving!

I was expecting a package equal to the size of the Killzone 3 Helghast Edition / Crysis 2 Nano Edition / Halo Reach Legendary Edition etc, but it's actually no bigger than the Avatar / Fallout 3 GAME exclusive / Splinter Cell: Conviction / Bioshock CE's!

I was quite shocked to receive such a small package, as I had expected something much larger! But what it lacks in size, it makes up for in weight. I would say it must weigh a good 5Kg at least! That Duke bust is certainly no cheap shitty plastic mould, I can tell you that! The front of the box is also not a solid flat pane - It's an open window and the moulded plastic packaging blister is shaped around th Duke bust, so be careful if you're handling a sealed copy as I almost put my finger through!

This is one quality CE, and despite its size it sure packs a lot of stuff into such a small box!

No, definitey not that large! Like I say, it's the size of most other CE's hich come with a figure. So Bioshock, Fallout 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Avatar, Aliens Vs Predator etc...

Mortal Kombat 9 and Vanquish are much larger than this edition

It's not worth any price tbh. The game is awful and it's the worse collectors edition I have ever brought I would really ward people off this one.

I wouldn't say the CE was the worst one ever, for me these EA DLC only first editions for the worst.

The game however was pretty bad, agree with you there.

I don't know if the first edition things really count as a collectors edition.
It's just my opinion that it's the worst CE I have ever had I was really disappointed, so disaponted that I traded it in a week after release!
