it just says that it's limited, but not by how much...

something tells me it will be a lot more than 2,000. I mean there are more than 2000 GameStop locations in the USA. Nevermind the fact that it's coming to Europe and on 3 platforms. If it were that limited it would have to have been exclusive through 2K's online store.

Gamestop (and perhaps other websites) still have all three versions available for pre-order.

In regards to Amazon, they won't charge until the item ships, so it's always a good idea to at least pre-order a CE you're interested in ASAP, to insure you will get a copy.

If you change your mind, simply cancel.

Thats exactly what I do Mandingo, I have the MK Tournament Edition preordered, I am just waiting to see if it sells out on Amazon before I cancel it. It is a nice way to deal with some of these lackluster CE's we have seen. (Not that the MK: Tournament Edition will be lackluster, it actually looks sweet.)

Everyone is right about Shopto, when it comes to big boxed items, shopto are quite good.

For smaller items, not so much.

Yeah publisher has stated that i's supposed to be limited, but so far that doesn't seem to be the case. Usually demand kicks about 2-3 weeks before launch.

Also it could be the constant delays that no thinks it will come out, wouldn't blame them.

The MK steelbook from future shop was very nice, so I have high hopes for this one. It says that it is free with the game, so I don't know why its currently prices at $100.

Ok figured it out, simply add the normal copy of the game to your basket, the steelbook is added automatically at no extra charge.

So the price is $59.99 for the steelbook and game, Free shipping also as it's over $20.

It used to be, you could put the Duke Nukem game in your cart, and it would automatically add the steelbook, free of charge. If it didn't, you could manually add it to the cart free of charge. Now when I do that (I already pre-ordered mine, though) the steelbook is added at $100.

It might come back, but my guess is future shop will take it down shortly :(

I know some of you are already own a copy of the Duke Nukem Forever Ball of Steel Edition. So is this Edition worth to pay the full release price or will this Edition be available for half the price in a few weeks.

I'm wondering because this Edition is still available in many stores for a good price. So should I get a copy now or wait. I'm very unsure with this Edition and appreciate every help.

I would think that this one will not actually hold it's value.

Most FPS CEs do not hold their value very well, and recently the reviews for Duke Nukem forever have been pretty bad from what I've seen... and to me that means a lot of non-collectors who bought the Balls of Steel Edition will likely decide to resell it.

If retailers still have it in stock several days after release... that seems to be a bad sign too IMO.

I have to side with Twisted aswell, can still be purchased here in the UK, not likely to sell out at full retail price. The exception is the PC version which is sold out at most places.

I still stand by this collectors set and i like it alot but ive always been a big Duke fan. But I did get it cheaper i paid £53 through Zavvi when they first put it on their website at the wrong price and i used a discount code aswell.
