F.E.A.R. 3 Collector's Edition available for pre-order

The F.3.A.R. Collector's Edition was already announced on January 13, but it's still not available for pre-order in Europe and the United States.

For that reason alone I think this is worth a news post because EBgames.com.au (http://www.ebgames.com.au/xbox360-153083-FEAR-3-Collectors-Edition-Xbox-360) have now listed this great Collector's Edition for pre-order.

To everyone outside Australia I think it is safe to say that now the time has come to keep eyes open and ears tuned because this Edition will be available for pre-order soon!

It's due out on the 27th of May, so you'd think they would've had these up for pre-order by now... I wonder whether we are actually still getting it? Various news blog sites have reported on the UK receiving it, but nowhere seems to know where it will be available. I wonder if the CE has been canned for some reason?

So what's the crack on this edition? Is it coming to the UK or not?

It seems ironic that the country with the strictest rating system is allowing such an edition to be released, whereas we are still awaiting confirmation here in the UK...

I also notice that the release date has slipped from the end of May to the 24th of June now, so there's still time for an announcement!

I read that it will not be released in UK,US and JP. But I have nothing official and I can't remember where I found this information :sorry:
I found a few Austria shops which are taking pre-orders for the PS3 but nothing for the xbox 360.

Interestingly enough, they also have the SteelBook Edition listed...

I am slightly sceptical about the authenticity of these items sold here though. Firstly, the prices seem a little off (Over £75 for a SteelBook is ridiculous!). Secondly, they can't even spell "Edition" correctly. Also, why would they be selling an item which is supposed to be a GAME exclusive?

I also suspect that if these listing are real, then they will most likely be imported European versions from the continent. I would definitely advise on buyer discretion if you're thinking of ordering one of these editions from this site, as it might not surface, and if it does, it may not be what you're expecting (Ie, a UK version)

I have nothing official that they cancelled this edition here in Germany but like in the UK it's not available for pre-order. So I guess they cancelled it :)

I'm just surprised that there is so little news coming from the publisher, it's always a bad sign. If they don't get it soon they won't be able to take advantages of pre-orders. Which is just bad business.

From a personal collecters point of view I would rather have it all in English, artwork, box - hence my order from S.A

however the reason I am not ordering, is that you have to pay to return the item if damage, nor will they refund the original cost of shipping to you. They better pack well.

Yeah it looks like that but it actually is the one from the link, I don't have the t-shirt and either the comic. Just the Media press disc, copy of the full game sealed as on Matrix's pic and the Art book or family album.

No probs man, I was interested in what it looks like. It kinda reminds me of the Uncharted Press Kit, which I'd love to own for so long now. Sometimes it seems like Press Kit copies appear better looking than the actual CE released for some games :(

The F3AR CE will definitely get real cheap in a few months time, I'd say less than $50 by xmas. It's one of my guilty pleasure CE that I won't show off ;)
