Hello, everyone
I have been lurking around here for a while without posting, but I guess I should introduce myself. My name is VelaNoon and I am the Queen of Mudcrabs (you know those lovely creatures from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion). Physically I live in Norway, but my mind and soul resides in the town of Chorrol. Feel free to drop by my Mudcrabs Den and say hi :) You will find the link in my signature.

I do not have a large collection of goods like the majority of the members here, but I can list what I do have:
- Assassin's Creed II Black Edition
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Codex Edition (unopened)
- Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition + Collector's Edition game guide
- Splinter Cell: Conviction Collector's Edition

And I also have an original release copy of Thief: The Metal Age. I know it isn't a CE but it still comes in a big box ^^

I would love to post pictures but at the moment all my CEs have been secured into boxes since I am preparing to move south.

I am looking forward to hanging out with you guys :v:

Looking forward to seeing pics!

Welcome, Queen of Mudcrabs.

lol, yeah I've been seeing you lurking for awhile and was wondering if you would ever post.

It's good to see that you're becoming active in the community. :D

Thank you :)

The Black Edition was actually kind of an impulse-purchase. At my local video game store they had put up a poster telling you that you could pre-order the white and black edition. "Holy moly, that figurine looks awesome!" I thought and went to the register to write myself up on the pre-order list. "What kind of game is this? Some kind of assassin-snazz? Cool enough." xD
Good thing I ended up loving the game :)

I have the bad habit of ending up as a lurker when I join new communities, but hopefully that will not be the case here :P

I collect for the PC. The only consoles I own are the Gamecube and Nintendo 64. I am planning to eventually buy a used ps3 to play those ps3- and console-only titles like Heavy Rain, Uncharted and Metal Gear Solid.

And thank you for the warm reception : D

Wise move :) PC + PS3 is the best combo imo.

There are some 360-exclusives that I want to play too, but I am too put off by the whole RROD-curse to consider getting an xBox.
*Sigh* Let's meet in the afterlife, Alan Wake...

Welcome and Hello to this forum :)

It's always great to see people from all over the world because you'll never know which country decides to release a super rare exclusive Edition next.

Absolutely ^^
If there are any Norway/Scandinavia-exclusives you guys are looking for then I won't mind being your forwarding-buddy :ok:

My room is finally presentable so I took a bunch of pictures to let you see what the Mudcrab Queen's den looks like :)
I'll start off with my CE's and other games:

This cupboard/drawer-thingy houses my Fallout: New Vegas CE, New Vegas game guide CE and two vinyls from the 50's :D The book next to the vinyls is a plain planner that I gutted and rebound with my own New Vegas-design. Here is my blog entry about it (http://mudcrabsden.wordpress.com/2011/01/02/arts-and-crafts-my-new-vegas-planner/) if anyone wants to see more pictures of it or read about how I made it.
The space underneath the shelf is used to store my xBox 360 and empty CE boxes and sleeves.

This vitrine cabinet is my favorite piece of furniture. The shelves are so big and spacy so there is room for a lot of good stuff in it. The top shelf is dedicated to Assassin's Creed, the second contains my The Witcher 2 CE and the third shelf holds my games, Sam Fisher figurine and Ken Follet books + TV-series. I also have two game posters on my walls.

My Thief-games are proudly displayed on the bookshelf.

And here are tge rest of my special games.

I also have some other stuff that I have put on display in my room.
My Ranka Lee-figurine that I have been wanting since 2008 and ended up buying for my 19th birthday, the soundtrack CD from the Macross Frontier anime and one of the pages from the MF 2008 calendar.

http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/9949/cimg3604d.jpg

My collection of Ayumi Hamasaki CDs, singles, compilations, remixes and concerts. You can see the 'Five' mini-album with the Tales of Xillia cover there. I have several posters of her but only one frame that was big enough to hold the smallest one.

Favorite movies and TV-series: (I love my The Road to El Dorado-VHS ^^)
http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/7985/cimg3618k.jpg

Hardcover books that look awesome without their slip covers and other books that are my favorites or I'm currently reading.

http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/7199/cimg3617p.jpg

And then there are my plants :P The cactus is named Beryl (after the villain from Sailor Moon). The orchids do not have names yet.

Wow really nice update, had no idea you were a Macross fan aswell. Didn't even know you could get a Ranka Lee statue.

Your layout and indeed pretty much everyone else's puts my to shame.

Thank you ^^
I am only able to have displays like that because I have such a humble collection, really. If I had a giant collection I would be so frustrated because I wouldn't be able to decide which ones to display :P

Macross Frontier is actually one of my favorite shows :D And Ranka is my favorite character. My next goal is to get my hands on either Michael Blank's or Alto's Valkyrie, or that big badass Klan Klan figurine that costs five goats and your firstborn child.
