Hello, i´m Matthias from germany and happy to meet some people with the same interests. Playing games for nearly 30 years now, but started collecting a few months ago on XBox 360, PS3 and sometimes on PC. Here is a look at my little collection.

Thanks! They were homemade with some simple things from the hardware store! I looked for somethings to show the steelbooks, but couldn´t find anything. So I tried to build something on my own!

Oblivion is "hidden" between the other Editions because there was a round sticker on the right top front which destroyed a part of the cover(I didn´t remove it). :(

It is a cerificate in the pack that says the (small) piece is from the Berlin wall! There is a picture on the backside of the cerificate, that shows a small part of the wall. Pieces of the wall are sold everywhere in Berlin, so I think its authentic.

hey matze, something's been bugging me all day about my infamous 2 special edition...not the hero just the regular special edition.

Do you find the plastic slip cover to be too big for the case, abit baggy if you like, i haven't opened mine but the way it looks to me is as if it dont fit lol..it might just be me? im suprised how slimline the case is :banghead:

Preordered Ace Combat Assault Horizon and Dark Souls today at Gamestop. If you preorder them now, you get an upgrade to the Limited edition. I thought I want the LE, so :Why not?! :D

yea I read it too that it is exclusive to gamestop.de here in Germany. I avoid buying german games. The USK logo is bigger than the whole box ^^

And even with taxes and shipping it's a good deal to order from Amazon.com

Yesterday my Gears of War 3 XBox360 arrived, and it looks really nice! Now i´m hoping to receive my Epic Edition, but it looks a little bit diffcult at the moment, because the shop didn´t answer to 4 mails and one question on the Facebook-site. But I don´t give up the hope!:beg:
Yesterday I also received my "new" Atari VCS 2600. A friend and i won an ebay-auction for 2 of them with games and controllers!:beer:

So finally I could manage to get the Epic Edition! After the trouble with one "special" shop(i finally cancelled the order!) :rant:, I got a call by my local Gamestop. They knew I was looking for the Epic and got an additional one. You will never see me run this fast again! :beer:

I got my epic edition day 1 and was VERY impressed with the quality of the box and how well the items were packed/wrapped inside the outer collector box. One of the best I've seen. VERY easy to open too. An excellent design. You know, 1 thing I was very upset with about this Epic edition though was the fact that the "Limited edition" came perfectly shrinkwrapped inside, while the limited editions sold separate from the epic edition were NOT shrinkwrapped and packed loose inside a cardboard sleeve. A real sleazy thing to do by Microsoft/Epic Games...

1)Bad Company 1 Gold edition embossed steelbook. Where did you get and where can I get? lol HUGE Battlefield fan and would love this variant of the US Gold edition which was shite (only came w/ a gold cardboard slipcover).

2)Where did you acquire the Duke Nukem trucker style hat? I know there is a US online store for GearBox which I've been to and bought all merchandise for Duke, but this hat was not there I'm sure...

The stands are made of wood? Not sure but will it leave a mark on the steelbook after some time? I'm interested to get some something similar but I'm afraid the hard material will leave a mark. :shrug:
