the damage? it came wrapped in paper only and was shipped via parcel post (shipped in a truck knocked around a bunch) I would have expected it at least in some cardboard..

They were a prize for many different contests. From Killzone 3 beta contests, to graphic design competitions. There were 1000 made I think and they occasionally pop up on ebay.

Mike1888 has it right. Got mine off Ebay. looked in amazing condition when i saw the pics. just shipped HORRIBLY!
$90 buy it now price, I dont think the guy knew what he had lol. Last few I saw were around $250 by comparison..

Only $90!? Oh my god. :drool: He sure didn't, many of these people winning the contests are completely unaware of video game collecting and severely underestimate the worth of what they've won. This was the case with me when I won my R* Key to liberty city, I lost it, thinking it was worthless! :S Now I see it going on ebay for over $80. The same situation arose with the UC2 fortune hunter, someone I know scored one for under $150.

But yeah, NICE pickup for only $90! I bid $150 in a recent auction but lost :(

How do you recognize those versions (with the glowing eyes) when the box is sealed? Are the boxes similar to the regular Helghast Editions?

The box is totally different on the front cover they have the sniper instead of jumbo face of regular army dude and on top they have red splash logo.

Yep it state in the back of the box that it contain LED replica helmet.
For the number I think I read it from the sweepstakes that I register (Didn't win tho) some say 1000 some say 450 but I go with later due to the number that it occasionally pop up on ebay

Yeah it just 5 block from my old house (Got tired of breaking in and dodge a bullet so I move now)

They have a-ok store if you like classic game but their price are pretty high now ($2-5 cheaper compare to MSRP for new and +/- $5-$10 in used market )
I like their quality of used game but their sticker is bug the hell out of me to remove it and it left big stain on the cover.
So yeah I go there occasionally to have an idea for the price and back home to bid on ebay.
