was hoping for it to be cheaper.just dont want to preorder a "limited " game and then reduced a week later because its mass produced.been bitten so many times....lol

Edit: Looks likes there also a Elite Armour Pack version aswell for the same price as a standard copy.

Ok - that looks like a very nice collector's editions, I love digi-pak designs and this could be one of the best of the year. Let us hope they produce these in small numbers.

I looks like a lot of effort went into the opening mechanism including the layout, I for one am very impressed.

Matze is right. The Warhammer CE is not exclusive to the UK. You can order it in France from Amazon.fr or in Spain from Gamestop, just to name a few.

From what I heard from game shops here, not much hype on this particular CE (ie very few preorders). Usually CE preorders are quite big. This poor response could be only over here but has got me thinking whether to hold off on this and wait for price drop.

from what I've seen... online exclusive CEs tend to hold their value better than those in stores...

yea, I thought about getting the US one because the German CE is exclusive to Media Markt stores and they are not known for their "limitedness"

Same thing happened to me at Gamestation, Gemini. I was on my way to pick up the PS3 version of the CE yesterday when i got a call from my pal there to say there were no-shows on the PS3 version alone.

Worked out in my favour, though. They were offering the Elite Armor Pack pre-order version at half-price (£20) for the disappointed, like me. So I bought one, took out the DLC and marched it over to Grainger Games who were selling the Space Marine CE £15 cheaper than i would have paid. Made £11 profit on the Elite Armor Pack as a trade-in which means i got the CE for £26 cheaper than i was due to pay.

Great when things break in your favour for a change, ain't it :banana:
