So I've decided to "up my SteelBook game" recently, and started my collection of Blu-Ray SteelBooks. I'm only collecting USA and Canadian releases.

SteelBooks are what got me into collecting in the first place.

Anyway I wanted to keep tabs on what LAST GEN SteelBooks I might be missing from my game collection, and I figured if we could get a list together it'd help boost the database information for those games as well.

If you know of any that are missing from this list Please post up the full name along with with the region (NTSC/PAL) where it was released.

---------------------------
I'll start the list with what's in the database now:
This includes Genunie Steelbooks as well as "knock offs"

Doom 3 Limited Collector's Edition (fake) (Xbox) [NTSC]
Doom 3 Limited Collector's Edition (fake) (Xbox) [PAL]

Can anyone provide me with information on what was included with these as well as release dates/ release RRP or other info (such as if it was retailer exclusive, etc.)?

Surely some of you must know some of that about some of these

^both of those are already in the database... I own both personally :)

I'm mostly interested in details for the short list in the 2nd post since I don't know anything about those releases, thanks though. :)

So far unmentioned:

Killzone - Collector's Edition (SteelBook) (PS2) [PAL]

I don't think there are that many more which are missing. I know I am only missing a few UK PAL ones from my collection, and all of these have been mentioned above along with all the ones I own

I wouldn't class the other metal tins as being "Fake" or "Knock-offs" - They're just a different brand (known as Metal Paks) rather than an official SteelBook. As far as I know, these came slightly before the Scanavo SteelBooks, where I believe Killzone was the first official SteelBook to be released, shortly after Halo 2 came out in an alternative style Metal Pak. The Metal Pak would also go on to be used for Doom 3 and Perfect Dark: Zero

Also, isn't True Crime: New York City a two-piece hinged tin, rather than a three-piece SteelBook / Metal Pak? I haven't got this game in my collection, but I was always led to believe it was an actual tin similar to the Brothers In Arms: Road To Hill 30 tin...

I'm only classifying them that way for the sake of this list...

I have the NTSC version of True Crime NYC and it's the same exact style case as Halo2/Doom 3 you can see pics of it in the database. maybe the PAL release is different?

EDIT:
I found a few more games, which I've added to the short list (which is now almost as long as the long list )
