You and me both. If the Czech Republic and Hungary get their own specific versions, what does that mean for the major steelbook countries, like Canada, France, and Germany?

By the way, this is kind of a long shot, but are there any Czech users that would be willing to help us out too? There are apparently some other GAME.cz exclusives that came under the radar (Heroes of Might & Magic VI and possibly Infamous 2).

For the Two-Face Edition you can most probably get it from 365games as they also stock US games plus the currency can be converted to US Dollars. See if you can create an account and it should show that they can ship to Canada as well?!?

I think it might just be an error on their page. They've been updating it ever since the day it got announced bit by bit.

I went on this afternoon and the main product page was live but you couldn't order through that, so I searched it, in the results I clicked "Buy" and it worked (doesn't work now though...)

As I was typing my last post I received two of the four SteelBooks I ordered - The Joker and Two Face ones which I bought from Tesco Entertainment and ShopTo respectively. I bought the X360 versions

I can confirm that both of these come with a plastic slipcover, and both are almost identical except for the images printed on the back of the SteelBook. The plastic slipcovers are exactly the same, although the Two Face one has a sticker over the barcode with a different barcode printed on it


Three down, two to go. Still waiting for the Penguin one from Blockbuster and the Catwoman one from Amazon.co.uk. Just received an eMail from Blockbuster to say it's on its way, but Amazon eMailed me earlier in the week to say that because I used Super Saver delivery I won't get it on release day, which I personally think is a bit off considering this is a pre-order and they had plenty of time to dispatch it earlier

As soon as I have all four, I will post up some comparison pictures and a group shot.

I have just received my fourth and final SteelBook. I will do some pictures soon so you can see all four together. I am now regretting not getting a set of PS3 versions, but unfortunately my bank balance wouldn't allow it

All four UK SteelBooks appear similar, with the only differences being the actual picture on the back and a different barcode on each plastic slipcover. All feature the UK BBFC 15 rating logo on them, which is reassurance that they are intended solely for the United Kingdom and not aquired elsewhere in Europe and sold here as an exclusive

Also, having spotted the Joker SteelBooks in my local Tesco store, I can confirm that the UK PS3 SteelBooks are indeed G2 size, which I know a few people were asking about

Dunno if youve given in to temptation yet, but there is a skins pack due out on the 6th december.

It has been said all skins will be available for download, as are all the challenge maps.

Only thing Im unsure of is the sinestro corps skin, that may be the only exclusive thing for a while, unless it comes in the skin pack.

Ask Midlandmaster, he has a copy. But it does a have a lenticular slip-cover [with the Robin art cover] and I believe it also has a different art work on the normal cover [that will need to be confirmed by anybody who got one]. I managed to obtain a promo cover of the Robin cover, there's virtually no difference to the retail copy but the 'Display box only' print on the back of the cover. :)

Yes and Yes :bananayes: and I'm also awaiting the release of the Japanese CE [colored statue]. It should be out this week and hopefully they ship it immediately. Btw, it's PS3 Japanese exclusive only! None for Xbox360 or PC. :surrender:

thank you everybody for your assistance...i know i sound like i'm beating a dead horse..but just so i'm absolutely sure about the 'jb hifi robin edition"..everybody all at once..let me know please :p..1.)..THIS JB ROBIN EDITION IS TRUELY WORLD EXCLUSIVE TO THEM COVER ART WISE?..2.)..IT IS INDEED NOT A SLIP COVER..BUT ACTUAL "BOX ART ON THE GAME CASE ITSELF?....:p..just don't want to end up making a costly mistake..i did note the pics and stuff on this forum..just there's a mix of UK and Aus, and slipcovers and not..so just want to be clear..thankx.

whats this recent talk about an exclusive batman arkham city french steelbook?..can anybody shed some light on this?..i know mackalaway is going through a difficult time right now so this is NOT directed at him, however he mentioned it, and we have other members from FRANCE on these boards, i would think they would of at least heard of this or seen it in there game shops..can somebody from FRANCE post a website?..i guess Mackalaway said he would soon..but this is not the time to keep requesting from him to do so, so if anybody else can take picture or show image of the alleged NEW BATMAN ARKHAM CITY STEELBOOK RELEASE DESIGN EXCLUSIVE TO FRANCE it would be appreciated..thanks.

I stupidly paid $185US for months ago, then I was shown a different site selling it for far less, yesasia doesn't allow cancellations on preorders [and virtually any orders] so I had to stick to it :(

Hard to tell V, if anything, it's been catered for the Japanese market only and only for the PS3 format. As far as anything in Japanese, they don't make too many and sell out almost completely unless it's not a successful product?!? Again, hard to tell. :S

hmm that's bad, not allowed to cancel. Thought only smaller company would do this as in confirming you are going to buy will allow them to not waste money allocating stocks. :D but then, you can always do something about it :D
