Dead Island SteelBook available from Spanish GameStop (PS3 & X360 only)

Gamestop Spain has listed a cool looking steelbook for the up and coming Dead Island, it's limited to just 500 units and is available on the PS3 and XBOX 360 platforms.

It seems they do ship outside of Spain (i.e to other countries where Gamestop stores are located) - but there is no UK option.

With only 500 available this is surely a decent buy :clap:

I give up with this game. There are so many variations of it its ridiculous.

I'm gonna get the New Zealand version from Mighty Ape. It comes in a nice wooden box with decent extras that will all be in english.

Why do all these European countries get nice CE's for Dead Island, and here in the UK we get squat! All we have so far is the Special Editon with a different cover and DLC. Big whoop!

Less than a month until release, and we've yet to have any decent CE announced, yet there exists at least half a dozen CE's from other countries

Its not there man. Ontario is Ontario in Spanish (I know this cause I google-translated it hahaha)...Even when you just put in a Spanish state, it says "Nation not ship" which I assume means they can't ship to us. We need help!

There are rumours on a few other forums that this might actually be the new, highly contraversial, StickerBook style SteelBook (similar in design to the Vanquish SteelBook). If this is true, then it will be poorly received, as many SteelBook collectors are against this new style of SteelBook

ah there are so many versions of Dead Island but the UK have seen none, I was going to order the 'special edition' from GAME because it looked like a different box from the other usual stores but its still plastic in the end.

I really would like this steelbook though and I see they have an advert for a Deux Ex steelbook as well.... its not fair lol

I received Source Code from Play.com and it is a sticker book... cant say im overly impressed by stickerbook but then again its tidier have a silly cardboard flap with the film details printed on it.

100 Euro is like £87.... a bit rich for my blood over the trouble of 'a' steelbook with no guarantee that the game will even be in english, I could buy the Special Edition from GAME twice for that, I think I may have to give this a miss UNLESS he will sell the Steelbook itself without the game for less? If you could ask that would be brilliant.
