I'm from Singapore and I collect only PS3 stuff.

I'm focusing on steelbooks now. I'll try to update whatever pics I have here :D

I noticed that most of the CE listed here are for Europe R2 and US R1 CE/LEs.

Over here we tend to get shafted in terms of releases :(

Off the top of my head some R3 CE include:
Dragon Age Origins CE (Comes in a wooden box)
Crysis 2 Nano Edition
GT5 Collector packs (2 different ones with either sls or gtr car)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Premium box (with metal accessories)
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Comes in a metal tin)

I only started collecting last year September so I probably missed out on many other CE. Been trying hard to find some older ones and for me the joy of searching and finding a nice CE beats playing the game. Hahaha! I think this is the only place where game collections are appreciated.

The Infamous 2 folder was given out as pre-order bonus for most shops here. Over here we seldom get exclusive CEs so they tend to give away some small freebies as bonuses.

The hostess calender is from the Yakuza 4 Ichiban take-away box

Actually the calendar and artbook here were given out free to all pre orders and I think they had extras so the early walk ins also got a copy. I'll try to look around the shops over here but not sure if there are any left.

Welcome!! and that's a great collection :D yes Singapore stores do offer limited items as pre-order bonuses. One of the reasons I occasionally check with my buddy who owns a store there for limited items (that's how I get the FF13 limited ps3 console).

Anyway, I wanted to ask you about the "Oblivion 5th anniversary PS3 Greatest Hits" rectangular box behind the GT5 car and to the left of the Resident Evil 5 CE. I have never seen this so I'm assuming it's exclusive to your region? It's a large box/case, unlike the smaller steelbook 5th anniversary that was released for US (which was still nice). Can you explain what this is that you have? Thanks!

Hey foreverflash thanks for your nice greeting. This is a really great site for fellow collectors and I've seen stuff here I never heard about.

The oblivion 5th anniversary is a steelbook and it's a US release. This should be the same as what you've seen. Could be the angle that makes it look bigger. I'm a lousy photographer hahaha :suicide:

It not super rare but was sold out before launch and has stayed around and above retail price ever since. The UK version anyway.

The AUS version with the extra content is better but never came sealed. I prefer the AUS version personally.

That console is the ninokuni magical edition. It comes with the jap game and magic book also in jap. It was available in most shops here so not very limited I guess. The colour is very nice tho.

The darkness 2 statue is numbered on the base. I think 3000 copies were made. Can't remember the number now :lmao:

Hmm you mean the red one? That is the asia LE steelbook. It comes with the game sealed in the steelbook with a lenticular slip cover :barsong:

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I only collect for PS3 tho. For PS3 games with steelbooks released exclusively for other platforms like Homefront (PC), Mass Effect 2 (Xbox), I make exceptions and replace the disc with my PS3 games. LOL cheating.

There's some members collecting across all platforms who would definitely have much crazier collections and I love to see pics of those all lined up! :drool:

I started out collecting G2 which I think should be complete now. G1 I only started searching later. I haven't taken updated pics for the G1 as I'm lazy to take pics everytime a new one arrives so I wait for a bunch of new additions before lining them up. Hope to take that sometime this month :beer:

The game wasn't bad. It was pretty enjoyable for me but the ending was kinda abrupt. And I took way more than 6 hours cos I died a lot. :lmao:

I got the Anthology and AC1 just for fun to have all the AC steels in G1 size. The ugly PC logo doesn't fit in my collection so I omit AC1 from family pics.

Also did this as a warm up to get the feel of lining steels up again..... :nosleep:

That's a GT5 licence plate to commemorate the 2013 edition. And yes I did use my 10,000 bids for some of the steelbooks. Got them for way less than that tho :beach:

Yes I'm delighted with them. Everything is simply gorgeous. :thumb:

They used some fur-like material for the armor and the boot straps are tied with leather strips. Paintwork looks amazing overall and the faces are well done.

Oh and they're really heavy. Really really heavy. I think on the shipping box it said 7.6kg each. :bunny:

It looks official. It has ubisoft logos on the base of the statue and also on the box. Doesn't really matter to me tho. It looks great! I got number 149/250 but it's on the shipping box and I'm gonna throw that away :rotf:

Nope there's no cert. But it does have pure arts name on it as well. I don't doubt that they are official with all the standard ubi brand logos everywhere.

Purearts has made other AC statues as well. They sell a whole load more of those cheap statues which means much more volume and profits. Doesn't make sense for any company to jeopardize that to make and sell a small number of unofficial ones?

My guess is that they made these officially as higher end statues for ubisoft but not for sale to public. Probably they had to make a minimum number to make it cost effective and they got some sort of deal with ubisoft that they could sell the remainder after some time?

I see your point there. Yea Im aware of those statues made by Pure Arts. My concern is that will someone hijack Pure Arts name and start making this statue? Since Pure Arts information can hardly be found thro the net, and no website.

But like I said, its just my concern. I really love this statue, and I think I will grab one when I have enough cash. After all, official or not, this is one great looking statue. It will look awesome next to my Kenway Artist Proof Statue :D

It's available in Singapore via a contest and in Hong Kong if you pre order the LE and a PS4 console together. Don't know about other countries.

SCEA posted an article from a website doing the contest, and in that article it says there are only 50 from SCEA.

If I look from the top the lights are a little too bright so the statue needs to be viewed at a slight angle. The alternating lights aren't really giving me the feel of moving water tho. In fact I think when all the lights are on, the moving water look is more pronounced like in the pic. :wave:

Overall the extra lights in this exclusive isn't as big a deal as the dragonborn statue since there's no different weapon or face. Both of mine are the exclusive versions but as you can see, without the lights they look just like the normal ones. :barsong:

1 Day one bonus (Bottom right in the pic. The spine only says Final Fantasy XV and has 1 disc holder. Inside art is the same as the deluxe edition)

The 3 sealed deluxe editions in the middle row are just from the different regions with different slip covers. xXx
