Resistance 3 PS3 bundle?

I've heard and seen rumors regarding the possible release of a PS3 bundle with Resistance 3 and was unsure how credible the rumor is and if this bundle will have a "unique" Resistance 3 design like they've gone w/ the Halo: Reach and (soon to come) Gears 3 Xbox 360 bundles lately.

Anyone with any information? I'd be very grateful!

Has Sony EVER released any PS3 system bundles with unique system design/art like the Xbox 360 "limited edition" releases? I have yet to find one...

GT5, Final Fantasy, Yakuza, Final Fantasy Advent Children (Or something? I'm not a FF guy), MGS4, Tales of Xillia, anddd I think I've seen a Darksiders?

All I can say after seeing that "MGS4" edition is "Holy Shit"! Are the letters on there embossed? Wow...so I guess Sony "does" and "has" released limited edition consoles like Microsoft. Cool. :B

Yeah, 1 made. It went for 1000s on ebay unfortunately I was not there to bid! :'( They are embossed, and it comes with matching controllers seen in this photo. It also came with a bunch of other free stuff. IDK why they didn't make more of these...C'mon! :(

There will almost certainly be a bundle (no source, they just seem to do this with most big games nowadays) but a unique actual PS3 I highly doubt. There may be one but produced in very little numbers like the Darksiders PS3 and GTA Episodes from liberty city PS3 (just remembered that 1) so we won't get our hands on 1 anyways :(

Seriously. They should have made 100, very rare but the odd ebay auction would turn up and I would be there. :spiteful:

But no. They just make a dark silver one that says "Metal Gear Solid 4" in tiny white print in the corner. :suicide:

i wish Sony would pull there finger out and start making more exclusive PS3 consoles like Microsoft does, clearly there is demand i dont understand why they ignore this

I think that's just a vinyl skin on top, it's being offered at an NZ site as a bonus.
