None of these come with discs, am I right? They're all just preorder bonus type aren't they xx

For the ones that are already out, they are all pre-order bonus, except Gears of War 3, that one was midnight launch bonus.

Yes, none of them came with the games. These steelbooks came seperate from the normal game+case.

Most came unsealed except for Gears of War 3.

No they don't. You have to buy the game then you get Regular game case w/disc + empty steelbook.

Strangely, if you look at the exterior pic, it's exactly the same as european (size => G1) but on the inside pic, it seems that it's really a G2 !!!

Hey guys I live in canada, and i was wandering should i cancel my pre order with game stop and pre orded the new Final fantasy from Future shop? I assume the dlc will be on the psn store, However i have a question would i have to pay extra for the steel case (I rather have something in real life to look at then dlc that i assume will come out anyways)

If you prefer the Steelbook over the DLC, by all means, pre-order at Futureshop instead! You do not have to pay extra for the Steelbook. Just order online and it will automatically be added to your cart free of charge.

You can pre-order in store, but some people find that method more unreliable.

Depending on the size of the store, it varies how many Steelbooks each store gets.

If you do pre-order in store, you may also want to go early on release date to pick it up, before they give it away.

I'm sure it depends on whether or not you're going to buy those game at some point regardless of the steel.

You can get most FS steels for 15 to 25 bucks if you're patient so if you do want the game as well you'd have to wait until that was 35 or 40 bucks to break even and then you're getting a used game instead of new.

Honestly it might be better to buy all the games you want get the steel for free and then just buy the steels for games you don't want/ don't want to pay retail for.
