Hi from a welsh newbie

Just a quick introduction

Although I have been playing and buying games for years now I never really collected them and I thought I'd give it a go.

I havnt got many collectors or limited editions yet but heres what i do have

Assassins creed 2 Black edition(opened but like new)
Mass effect 1 collectors edition
Demon souls black phantom edition

I also have Assassins creed revelations animus edition and collectors edition on preorder and am now starting to look at various other collectors editions already out or due out, any suggestions as to what to look out for and to add to my collection would be most appreciated

I'm a car lover and a muscle car enthusiast so I suggest getting the Driver San Francisco Collector Pack while you can get it for a bargain. I imported a PS3 version myself seeing that the steal is just too much a luxury to pass up, especially since importing's expensive for a student like me.

If you have some money to burn, I see you take a look into these treasures:

- Skyrim
- Arkham City
- Warhammer 40,000
- Gears of War 3 (I don't have a 360, but if I did, this was a sure buy.
- Sonic Generations
- The Old Republic
- Uncharted 3 (I prefer the regular CE over the Explorer Edition but hey, I haven't seen the presentation for the Explorer Edition yet.)
- Revelations (Animus Edition or Templar Collector Edition)

There are some more out there, but I have a feeling these will have the most bang for your buck.

Yeah good place to start is the uncharted 3 Collector's editions coming out.

Yeah I did have enough money for that kicking around in my back pocket but unfortunately I misplaced it so I'll just have to go without for now lol,
I did just manage about 30 seconds ago to get hold of a sealed assassins creed 2 white edition for 34 quid to go with my black edition!

Nice little start cross. You know, it's funny, because no matter HOW small a collection people always manage to have SOMETHING other's desire. For example: I wish I had that RE4 steelbook you got. (it is a steelbook right)? Looks nice...I'm in the process of completing my RE/Biohazard collection. ;)

Do you collect the bottles still sealed or in packages/boxes? Don't know many "beer" collectors but I'm sure there's plenty...my friend, when you dig deep you'll find there is a collector out there for almost anything you can imagine! It's truly a "collector's" world. ;)

All the collectors ones are still sealed, The series i'm collecting at the moment they release each year but only in airports luckily enough i tend to go away at least once a year :)

Very nice collection! And is that a CE of Crisis Core? I never got that game so think I'll look into the CE version. :) And must be so hard to see Skyrim, yet not be able to touch it!

thats a fast growing collection. nice work there. if you're after necessary ce's then i would recomend the halo 3 and halo reach legendary editions.

Your missing the first game and brotherhood though...

The holders are just simple decorative plate holders you can pick them up on ebay pretty cheap, i'd advise to only put small light artbooks on them though the heavy ones weigh themselves down and you get indents on your book.

Ugh I wanted that steelbook, was going to pre-order one from amazon.de since I missed out on the crystal edition. But then again I was 50/50 since I wanted the HK version which is what I got now cuz of JAP voices as it would make sense to me to play it as close to it's native state as it's an JRPG although I do understand Japanese spoken not written lol

I managed to swag the Lightning Edition for XIII (missed out on collectors edition for the HK version, was lucky that I managed to find this actually ..... got it at a cheaper price as shop used it as a display unit). Both are sealed at the moment, haven't got time to play them; on another note the boxarts for the HK version is much nicer than the other versions. Since I got XIII-2 and that there was no special edition for HK I was going to get the steelbook but I was too late T_T

I so wanted to get my hands on that controller but havnt been able to find it at the right price yet sadly, where near cardiff are you from butt?, by the way those ffxiii-2 steelbooks are for sale £15 each if your interested
