Well, I was kinda interested..but then I checked the shipping price and apparently along with tax they want to charge me additional €27 even though we are on the same continent and the package most probably wouldn't be more than 500g? I think not.

Then i bought the guilty gear limited editon..and what? regular game copy + Keyring a part......so, will you bet this is just a regular copy of the game with the comic and the keychain? I'm not buying that crap this time. So much cash for a regular game with a comic book and a keyring. 14 plus tax for postage makes the total price rise to nearly £60. Another worthless and expensive edition by blazblue store. This won't be like the Guilty Gear boxset. This will be another Continuum Shift / Arcana Hearts 3 edition and I am so deeply sad for buying those two... The only really good thing they released so far was really the Guilty Gear Edition, which is millions of miles away from this manga edition. This won't be coming in a special box or have a certificate, nothing, otherwise they'd have announced it. It's a shame though. Really. But I won't fall for this again.

I'm not quite sure how canceling works for that store but I'm aware they say the item is charged right away and I don't want that. I'll pass this time unless someone confirms this is REALLY worth buying. Doesn't seem to be the case, but that's just my opinion.

Google checkout takes funds immediately, they are supposed to send items with 24 hours of payment as per Google terms and conditions. However in this case that won't happen.

They will refund the payment when you cancel, however how long that takes is anyone guess.

I ordered one straight away! I opted for the PSP, seeing as how I am more of a PSP collector than a 3DS collector at the moment. I presume the only difference is the game in the box, so I doubt it makes much difference

However, I would be keen to know whether there's going to be a certificate of authenticity. Also, what do you think the chances are of requesting specific numbers again like we did with Emily The Strange? (I call #200!)

I don't think that it will include a certificate otherwise they would have announced it. Emily the Strange was a properly done edition with its numbered box but I'm afraid it won't happen with this one so I'm reluctant to pay so much.

I'm with you here. But I think we all got caught out with the console release of Arcana Hearts 3 where we all expected it to be numbered, but was just a bunch of stuff chucked into a packing box

But yea, I'm with the majority here who believes that if something is limited to just 200, then there should at least be something which comes with it to authenticate it as such (something I hope Gurpswoo1 could bring up the next time he speaks with Andy from Pqube)

Well im preety sure it will just be a seperate game + some extras shipped inside a large box as there is nothing mentioned for any special packaging like they did with Guilty Gear .

It's a shame... it's really a shame. The Guilty Gear box set was amazing but all the other editions they sold were a disappointment...

The manga Edition is essentially the game, bundled with the Chibi Ragna keyring and the Manga. They're not numbered and boxed.
Currently, the Manga and Keyring are exclusive to this bundle".

While I am and many others are very disappointed, that there is no box or numbering system in this edition. The fact that the translated manga is restricted to 200 units and is the only English version (currently anyway), makes this edition special.

yes, basically the fact it's not much of an investment (when looking at some of the similarly priced CEs) - also it seems these types of releases have a history of dropping in price.

Pqube/Zen what ever they are called need to start thinking straight, strictly limited items and not numbered, certificate etc, get a grip, might cancel mine, was never happy with the suggoi fans edition

they implied when i placed my order there are NO CANCELATIONS ALLOWED!!..and you have a "15 min" window to change your mind...otherwise it was TOO LATE!!!!..i want out too!!!..but there's currently no formal way set up to cancel the order..unless you can start a dispute with your credit card company.

So do we know whether these are branded per console? Other Pqube LE's have been generic where the copy of the game required is interchangeable (Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is an example)

If they started with 100 PSP and 100 3DS versions, then that implies that they may come in console specific branded packages - If not, then how can they state a specific number of each if the games can be swapped like previous releases?

No it just put into the system as 100 units each, I sure when stock is depleted for one, stock will be taken from the others allocation.

i just cancelled my order for this, since this manga edition, is just a book "thrown in" the cardboard shipping box along with the game and a toy keychain, and lo and behold right after thanksgiving wknd i bet your gonna be able to buy this manga separately for the holidays and it'll end up being a "limited edition", and the only difference will be it would be a hardcover, and you can easily extract that when you read btwn the lines of the e-mail response posted from this distributer on this forum, where they kept using the word "currently" over and over, as if there implying this "exclusive" is to be exclusive to the "manga edition" for the new release window of the first 2 weeks.

I agree entirely with what you guys have said above. Provided this is the only print run of this comic, and the only way to get the keychain, then I feel that it's a worthy purchase for any PSP / 3DS collector.

But as stated above, I also feel that this edition would be more suited to a comic collector or hardcore fan of the BlazBlue series of games.

A certificate or authenticity would have been nice though, or at least some kind of guarantee that there will not be a future reprint. For example, when WaterMelon Games released the first print run of Pier Solar And The Great Architect, they publically stated that the Posterity Edition would only ever have one print run and future runs would not be the same

A box here would have been nice though, or at least some kind of a card which states that this is a Manga Edition

I'm not the sort to collect promo items from games unless these items are part of some sort of special edition of the game itself. So I kinda regret having purchased the Blazblue fan edition and the Arcana Hearts 3 Sugoi edition.

I agree that this manga edition is just like the other two. I will still pick it up if they have it available when I have te money for it but otherwise I'll let this one go. This may be suitable for a manga collector but not for me since I can't call this a special edition of a game.
