Hey all, im ingmar. 23 years old coming from holland and a huge game collector. Im currently a law student but very busy, so not much time to play but i collect them anyways :D. I started gaming on a NES, than i sold it so i could buy a n64, still have that one with lots of games. Than went to gamecube, i have a huge collection for that to, but sadly in that time no collectors editions. I also own a nintendo ds (with lots of games including a lot of rare ones) a 3ds and a psp go. Just here to show off my ps3 collection since thats where my focus is at.

I started collecting press kits since a few months, very awsome. Just still searching for little big planet press kits (Found!), assassins creed press kits (in process of obtaining AC1 kit) and of course the holy grail, the uncharted drake's fortune press kit (found!).

My assassins creed collection, really love this serie and a lot of CE (maybe a little to much, because im short on cash and my priorities lie not mainly on this collection, im still missing the harlequin jack in the box and auditore edition. Of course i allready have the animus edition pre ordered (not the normal ce, i think it sucks, and again no money).

Its not a press kit, but its limited to only 200 pieces worldwide, making it one of the rarest CE's to get. Its a real ammo box, really heavy and very awsome.

I have seen some for sale in the past year but they were damaged. Same for infamous kits I saw.

My resistance press kit is is pretty great shape, only the disc inside is scratched badly since its just sit loose on the top of the press kit without any protection.

Thats a common thing missing in the resistance fall of man press kit, the disc isnt supposed to sit loose in the lid originally it came with a rubber holder thats glued to the lid, most you see for sale dont have this.

Nice collection btw, I have flicked through it a few times, can you tell me more about the sorcery press kit?

About the sorcery press kit, i have contact with a journalist who got it, he didnt send me pictures yet, when i get those i will post them.

He only said it had the game it self, the asset disk and something to help playing.

He also said the kit was very mysterious with different ways to open it.

I have my most amazing pick up ever. I set out advertisements on dutch gaming forums for the uncharted kit, giving 350 euro for it. I get contacted by a guy that has it, he says he doesnt want so much for it and he sell it to me for 100 euro. I mean who the fuck does that, so i think maybe its a little fishy, but what the hell i take the chance. But i receive the kit perfect today! So happy!

I didnt even know this kit was numbered, but apparently mine is 4133, which surprise me because it is hard to find, and of other sony press kit are less made (for instance infamous has 2800).

The press kit is numbered on the back of the booklet you see on the right of the last picture.

The ghost recon Ce, i bought it from mightyape.co.nz really reasonable shipping cost!
It has a really nice steelbook to!

Quality is good, the cardboard is sturdy. It has a nice compressed t-shirt. A very nice steelbook with the ghost recon movie. A nice little artbook. So overall very happy with content!

Packaging was ok, didnt arrived damaged except there was a tear in the seal, it was due to the ps3 cardboard branding that was loose over the box, that cut into the seal.

Received it in about a week i think, pretty fast.

Btw, i was wrong about UC1 DF press kit being numbered...number is on all booklets the same. So i guess we dont know how many there are! Probably somewhere between 2000-4000 because those are typical numbers for sony press kits.

I have my most amazing pick up ever. I set out advertisements on dutch gaming forums for the uncharted kit, giving 350 euro for it. I get contacted by a guy that has it, he says he doesnt want so much for it and he sell it to me for 100 euro. I mean who the fuck does that, so i think maybe its a little fishy, but what the hell i take the chance. But i receive the kit perfect today! So happy!

I already said the production numbers on Uncharted 1 Press kit were high, but not many people care and insist in paying a lot...

Yes, but at the time of distribution the UC franchise didnt have any value since it didnt exist (was its debut). A lot of people actually didnt value this kit. I got it from a friend and she had several, literally lost a few as she wasnt bothered then.

Also, another thing, very few actually came with the soundtrack and even fewer came with the TDK review code diac. So the ones with all those items are indeed rare. I recently saw just the soundtrack going for $200+ in an auction and it will only increase in value.



I didnt even know this kit was numbered, but apparently mine is 4133, which surprise me because it is hard to find, and of other sony press kit are less made (for instance infamous has 2800).



Well I have 2 Infamous 1 press kits, one in English (no. 139/2800) another in Italian (no 1984/2800). I was wondering if there were 2800 made in each language or a total of 2800 made, perhaps in lesser, equal quantities of each language (like 400 for each language for 7 different languages)?

A optoma gt750 3d-beamer, great picture quality and awsome 3d effect.
Screen is a 90 inch, celexon professional mobile screen, which is really handy because u just pull it up and it keeps standing, you can easy move it to other room, yard etc.

Honestly the uncharted 1 press kit is better quality then the uncharted 2 promo journal. You could tell that they put more time to make the press kit then the journal. Never the less is still nice to have, especially since they were never sold to the public. I recommend it to any uncharted fan.

Wow, just wow. I had to register on this forum just to express my amazement at this collection. I had not even heard of half of these games having a steelbook release, let alone a press kit that made it out to public. I have been looking for press kits for a while now but to no avail, the ones on ebay seem to go for crazy prices. You must have some awesome connections ! But yeah wow, just wow. Are you going to keep the sealed ones always sealed so they increase in value? Or do you just buy another copy of the game so you don't have to open the sealed copy? The mirrors edge, i traded it with something from my collection on forum :)

Although alot of stuff is opened, i tend to keep the rarer ce's sealed, or the games i wont play sealed. Sometimes i get 2nd copy on the cheap, or play the promo disc if i happen to have the press kit.

Sounds awesome :) I personally don't own any press kits, just some limited editions, and some promo discs (bought a bundle of 93 games and a console off ebay, around 70+ were promo discs). Hi, that heavy rain promo package is extremely rare in contrast to the normal press kit which is easy to find. As far as i know, it was distributed to some press outlets in the united states, but in extremely limited quantities.
