Maven posted up (http://collectorsedition.org/forums/showthread.php?t=577) a new image of the upcoming, exclusive to Europe, Heavy Rain Collector's Edition.

It would seem that the previous information about this being nothing more than a nice slip cover and code for some downloads were incorrect. It's turning out to be quite a nice little CE. Its actually refreshing to see a CE release that offers simple, classy, appropriate embellishments as opposed to the over the top for twice the price CEs we've been getting as of late.

Another interesting note is that up to this point the edition has been titled inconsistently with some referring to it as a "Collector's Edition" and some referring to it as a "Limited Edition" this image actually shows "Special Edition" on the bonus content card. Up to this point that's the most official title for the package.... View this article on the HomePage. (http://collectorsedition.org/2434/new-images-of-heavy-rain-collectors-edition)

I decided I really wanted this... I pre-ordered it online through HMV UK... shipping wasn't all that bad ~5GBP through snail-mail.

it's region free and it's too unique of a CE to pass up... :)

I just really hope the content code will still work stateside.

The download code is region specific, well at least all my imported games codes have been. However you can easily defeat this little dilemma. Simply set up a new account on your PS3 & when asked for your address just put in any UK address you find on Google. You will then be able to access the European PSN store & redeem any download codes. I've done this with all my American imports & had no problems, I currently live at the Playboy Mansion according to Sony! The only other thing to note is that to make purchases (game add-ons) for your imported games you will have to use the PSN store for where the game originated. To do this you will have to use a prepaid credit card as your standard one is registered to your address which is not in the correct country, the prepaid credit card is not registered to any address.

hmm...

well I don't plan on importing all too often (this is the first import I've ever bought new)

since GameStop in the US is offering the same content as a pre-order bonus I might pre-order it there... pickup the game and then return it unopened and keep the code...
