hello, i've been lurking around and now i've finally decided to post my games. i was directed here by my bro AJ Lareneg because she's awesome and likes to find cool things for me. a true champion. she also made both of my most frequently used icons, one of which i'm using currently.

anyhoo i'm an 18 year old student in my first year of university, working towards a career in game design (specifically the artistic parts). as such, my favorite games are Shadow of the Colossus and ICO. i may have an internship with EA soon but we'll see.

i usually only buy CEs of games i really like since i'm a poor art student and SotC/ICO cost all of my monies, but i've been stocking up on games since about a month ago.

i'd like the original books for ICO in nipponese eventually, along with a japanese copy of the games, but they are plentiful on yahoo japan so i'm not that worried. and of course i can't afford the white box, but soon...soon...

i had a 3DS a long while ago after giving up on a zelda SE, but then of course it came out so i had to pull a switcheroo. also i found the MIB suicune GBA locally for $25, but it has since been sold (for a lot more than that lol). the gold GBA is my childhood system and a gift from my parents. i kept it in excellent condition. and of course my DSlite is decked out. originally bought at nintendo world, it now serves as my tournament DS (i play competitive pogglemans)

and some art books (of course)

PS. why is that big SotC statue so hard to find? as in every time i find one it is broken? seriously i need one. yesterday.

Especially those fantastic gashapon figures. Looking great!

yes, the figures are rather lovely. they look so good but dusting them properly is so hard, haha.

and yes, that would be beast boy. he's basically my role model, not even lying. one of my other passions is teen titans, which i have a lot of fun collecting/watching.

If I'm not mistaken, that's just Dr. Young's journal included in the Arkham Asylum CE.

Dusting figures is annoying as heck. I have some inside an Ikea Detolf cabinet, but those that are outside are a pain to take care of - especially the detailed ones.

As for the big statue, I very rarely see it on eBay anymore. It used to pop up more frequently a few years back, but now it appears to be incredibly rare.

And Teen Titan was a really fun series to watch. I didn't think I'd care much for it when I first saw the art style, but some of the episodes turned out to be really good and the characters were loveable.
Shame it ended (though I recall reading something about short episodes airing in 2012).

like others have stated, yes it is the journal from the batman CE. :)

he's a giant wall sticker! others in the set include Bowser, Donkey Kong, and someone else I'm forgetting.

i have a detolf but it is currently housing my nidoking collection, and i don't have room for another just yet. i do like them though.

i find the statues often enough on yahoo japan auctions, but even those ones are mostly broken or missing wander. i would love if you could let me know if you see one, thanks!

DC is excellent in many ways. the new 52 has disappointed me so far though, so i've been sticking to the movies/cartoons.

i totally get the art style thing, its an odd cross between western and japanese but it works pretty ok. my all time favorite super hero is beast boy, so that might have something to do with me loving the series so much. and yes, they are making shorts to air next year, which may lead into a sixth season if they end up being popular enough. i'll be on my toes until they pop up on youtube. :U
