Hi everybody! My name is Jay, and I joined this site about a year and a half ago.
I can most definitely attribute my collecting success to this forum/site and the amazingly kind members who are on it. I've met some great people so far –people who are willing to help out a fellow collector stuck all the way here in Korea, and I always try to return the favor. A wholehearted thank you to all of you!

It's been about two years since I started properly collecting LEs and CEs, and a year since I properly started collecting steelbooks. I have about 110 G1 steelbooks as of April, 2013 – again, the bulk of it comes from CE.org members :D

The AC thing was exclusive to Korea. I assume almost nobody knows about it! It came with a hoodie, a faceplate (pictured) a comic, soundtrack, and several other weird things.

Just as a side note, PoP was also (I believe) exclusive to Korea.

Nah, I have to import them myself. :/ I did however pick up that MK Kollector's edition at a random store.

Daamn you have what seem to be korean exclusives in your collection that I've never seen before. What's that Prince of Persia black box? The design reminds me the preorder edition in the UK and the press kit, but I've never seen a box with that shape. Also, your Assassin's Creed Premium is for PS3 or Xbox?

Saturn, the PoP is exclusive to Korea.
Comes with a faceplate, mug, artbook, OST, and I think that's about it.

The AC is Xbox 360. I usually only collect 360 games. The box is the same for both consoles :)

Ryu Kazama -- It's freezing here right now. I hate it. Anyway, if you REALLY want the DJMAX2 CEs (Black and Silver? I assume), I can get them for you. You have to use the Korean Craigslist-type site if you ever want to buy something NOT Korean here.

Ayiu -- I don't. I rarely use the sites; as I said above, I use a Korean Craigslist-type site, and meet people to buy stuff. Or, I go to two electronics-based department stores and they have individual stores there, all on the same floor. It's not like a single Gamestop or anything, it's just many small stores, like you would see in a department store elsewhere.

The games are Korean only so I'd figure they'd be easier to find except they never printed that many copies of each colour.

An update! :D

I've decided to put artbooks and OSTs in bags as well. Taking it to the next level... haha

I've also begun collecting Lego mini figures. I thought they'd look nice when placed around the room :)

The Coca Cola colored cups were given out together with a large meal set. I rarely eat there, but I happened to one day, and I received one of these. Then I found out they'd give out different colors every week? -- and I started going there more often ever since.

And lastly, the Servbot mug was a Dead Rising Platinum Hits pre-order special given out randomly to 500 people. Each cup is signed by Keiji Inafune of Capcom.

But I've never gotten into PC games... I tried Starcraft and DotA a couple of times, but I completed sucked at it :(

The dust usually gets on the top of the games but not on the surfaces.

As a side note, I've put most of them into OPP bags since I uploaded the photos. I was able to find various sizes for most of them -- including KH Trinity Masterpieces! Some were too big, like the Korean AC :/

However, I have ordered a display cabinet with a glass door... should be arriving soon. Will post pictures again once I re-organize everything :)

The sizes I purchased were 14x20 (standard DVD case/steelbook), 17x25, 20x28, and 25x36.
A lot of the CEs I put in the bag leave a lot of empty space. The sizes aren't too perfect... I should consider purchasing the REALLY big sizes. The biggest one they're selling is 50x68 :eek:



BTW a note to everybody: OPP bags have a different texture than PP bags... I think PP bags are nicer. I couldn't find large sizes for PP bags though...

Yeah, definitely!
You click the photo, and go to Basic Fixes/Tuning/Effects
Playing around with the tuning and the Auto color and Auto contrast options in Basic Fixes yields some good results :) Albeit, it's nothing close to what Photoshop can do.

Ate the beggining of your collecting you have everything nicely displayed and after a while you have to save the space so you put nice displayed things from more shelfs into just one etc. And big boxed CE's are totally nightmare for these cases. But only them cotain beatiful A4 hardcover artbooks. :( Anyway I prefer average-sized CE boxes. :)

Haha, thanks :) AC isn't even close to being my favorite series (favorite would be Fallout) but I wanted Fallout to be inside the glass display haha

Problem I have with it is the only items actually exclusive to the launch kit are the promotional pamphlet and the box itself :rotf:

Poker chips and cards sell for a lot here as they're thought of as launch only items but were standard pre-order bonuses in europe

bobblehead is same as from Fallout 3 CE and t-shirt used to be rare but bethesda store now has that too and coasters can be gotten from a pre-order bonus

The Fallout 3 Launch kit is much much rarer and came in a similar cardboard box but I'm not familiar with the contents

That new vegas ultimate edition launch kit was the first one I've ever seen though not that it looked like anything special

I remember a few months ago, a FO3 metal launch party invite was auctioned off.... I think for about $2k - 4k? Can't remember which. Was that you too? :notworthy:
