If you order from the US, shipping is pretty much going to cost as much as the book itself, for a total of ¥6100/$78.35.

Lucky for us, there's already a seller on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/HYRULE-HISTORIA-LEGEND-ZELDA-25TH-ANNIVERSARY-ART-BOOK-ENCYCLOPEDIA-RARE-/170750061682?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c17f2c72) hawking this book for $64.99 (free s&h). Edit: now $69.99 and only free shipping within the US...and only a couple left for sale. If you live in Europe it might be cheaper to order from Amazon.co.jp afterall. Edit again: looks like that's it for that auction with a total of 12 sold. Looks like there's a few more people (http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=Hyrule+Historia&_sacat=See-All-Categories) getting in on the action now, at significantly higher prices. I would definitely recommend checking Amazon.co.jp first at this point and making sure their price plus shipping isn't less than these eBay auctions now.

I'm ordering this under the reasonable assumption that this will never be printed in English, so after spending $65 on the Japanese version I'll definitely be kicking myself if I'm wrong.

I don't think GAME ships outside of France, but here's a site that will ship worldwide at a reasonable price: €22.15/$28.85 shipped to USA (http://www.editionspixnlove.com/Tous-nos-ouvrages/Zelda-Chronique-d-une-Saga-Legendaire/flypage.tpl.html). Trouble is, as awesome as the cover looks, this seems to be an all-French, black and white, text only book. No pictures and unless you can read French, not really useful...but a pretty cover for sure.

i just got this message from the ebay seller. i'm very frustrated. >:(

Unfortunately, our supplier for the Hyrule Historia books became extremely supply-constrained, and were not able to fulfill the number of copies we had ordered from them.

To make matters worse, they have not given us a timeline for when they will obtain more copies (if at all), and it may be months before we can replenish our inventory. As a result, we may have no choice but to cancel this transaction with you, for the time being.

The supply constraints are evident from the fact that the book is sold out everywhere, from Play-Asia to NCSX to Rakuten.

If/when we're able to import more copies, we'd be happy to sell them to you again at the same price you initially paid, even if the book increases in value. However, for the time being, we will have little choice but to cancel the transaction and refund your money.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. This shortage truly took us by surprise and we are just as disappointed. We hope that you can understand.

Wow just great. I got the same message. So now do I wait to get another one from this unreliable person for $65 or pay $80 for an Amazon copy? I almost never leave negative feedback on eBay but wow who does this seriously.

Apparently amazon is having delays too, and possibly shortages. I bought one for $120 from a japanese ebay seller, and if the $70 one comes back in stock I'm going to take it and just sell the other one. :/

I sent them a message about the missing books, so we'll see what happens.
