It is indeed! They are also behidn Crash Bandicoot series. Jak & Dexter collection is also getting released this year, and since developers are Naughty Dog (they are owned by Sony), this collection would only be released on PS3.

There are a lot of very talented people in this company, including Amy Hennig (creative director), she was behind such titles as Legacy of Kain series (Blood Omen, Soul Reaver 1/2, Defiance).

And there are many more.

Uncharted is without a doubt series that you should play during this generation of consoles.

I started this Uncharted collection 2 months ago, so I guess it is fairly new. As I am still university student, it is hard to pay for every single thing, so it is harder to get the bigger items. It is my last year, after I graduate and get a real job, I will definitely be picking those up!

hey Jugo..before i became a "collector" and before i joined this board, earlier last year..i saw an australian ebay listing where the same seller, had 9 fortune hunter uncharted 2 for sale..yes..HE HAD 9 OF THEM!!!!!!!!!...and he was selling them for US $4,500 a piece with "3 SOLD, 6 REMAINING"..how could he have accumulated soo many?..he claimed all were genuine and like new condition..it was on ebay.au around March 2011.

Yeah, i saw that too, its crazy to imagine that a single seller could own so many copies of such a prestige collectible!!

i wonder if he had one..and maybe he met some chinese factory reps who agreed to do exact replicas?..i think in china anything is possible..or perhaps were lead to believe there's only a few dozen made available to the public, but there's probably hundreds out there, or maybe someone got a whole of the "template" or "prototype" and was able to replicate them, or maybe someone at the production facility where they were made, came in after hours made some extra sets, or stole a crate and passed it off to a friend or family member abroad, and they agreed to split profits..hahaha..could be anything...i mean..who can u get NINE????????????????..lol..

Haha yes i did TekTek. I am the very proud owner of 2/11 =) very happy about that, even though it was a little expensive. Can't wait to get them!

I actually have Twisted to thank for this! He brought the Gold Drake Figures to my attention on the 22nd. I've been following Esc-Toys since then, and they came out on the 27th. They mentioned it will be releasing soon at 4pm, so I sat infront of my computer for an hour, kept refreshing the page of sale, haha!

When it finally was for sale, the price tag was $250 each. I think most people were turned off by that, because it did take 45 minutes to sell all 11, which was longer than I expected. I had to buy 2 as an Uncharted fan =)

A pleasant surprise is that these are numbered and signed! I was very happy with that.

I got it for 1800 Euros including Shipping. But the seller posted different pics on the website than the actual item. This one has some blemishes and bubbles on the signature page, and I need a perfect one, so now have to return it :(

Its really a shame cause I believe 1800 Euros was quite a bargain

A real, true congratulations to you. As a collector you've achieved what many never do...that is, owning something this limited and having #1. By the way Jugs, how do you do those watermarks on your pictures? I'm curious. I'd like to do this to my pictures at some point...damn thieves out there on the interwebs... :P

I have bought all the Uncharted figure from esc-toys now, and I love the company. Everything you look for in a good company is Esc-Toys, especially their customer service!

Ah cool, thanks for that. Don't think I'll get that, I'm satisfied with the Asian Controller/Steelbook bundle. I wouldn't mind adding an Italian Steely especially with already having two of the "official art" steelbooks.

@Idiotekque I would say Uncharted 2 is probably one of the best PS3 games made, so I would really suggest playing that one atleast =) All of them were good though!! Err, I didn't like Golden Abyss though lol.

That one that he's selling there is an exclusive from Belgium; that one's uber rare, but it's really obscure so it hasn't really seen any kind of circulation. The one from Italy is totally different; I'm not familiar with it.

This has to be the finest Uncharted collection on the planet. There are a couple pieces there that I would kill to have: The Uncharted framed concept art, and The Chronicles of Sir Francis Drake press kit. I don't know how you did it, but in two months, you scored two items that I've been looking for for ages! Keep it up man!

I'm so glad the Publisher's Proof Folio Edition Art Book went to the right home too. That Folio in particular has to be one of the rarest items in your collection.

Just so you know, I don't think that one was exclusive to Gamestop. I have one of those, and I got mine from a Target store. The Target wasn't selling them of course. The Target store simply received it as a promo item to display in the videogame section. I think it might have also been handed out to members of the press at certain events, though I'm not totally sure if that bit of info is correct.

The hat and shirt are some of the nicest I've seen for gaming wear. Can't wait! Got the hat still waiting on shirt. Normally I buy 2 of each when I get shirts to collect them but in this case you can't because poweruprewards only allows 1 per person :( But it's ok! WE: What do you think makes a good collectors package?

Timon: Some people like to keep their games sealed and some people like to open it and view everything inside. I am a sealed collector.

1. The outer packaging should be aesthetically pleasing, since it won’t be opened, it has to sit pretty on a shelf.
2. The packaging itself should be sturdy enough to survive being handled by couriers, with some worst than others out there. Any damages to the edition is a big turn-off to a majority people out there, and it also greatly decreases the value.
3. The Interior contents should be exciting and relevant to the game itself. The contents that comes with the edition should be a fair value in relation with the retail price.
4. Physical items are always better than digital items, like DLCs.
5. The rarity of the edition is very important, too many ones out there are overproduced. The more rare an edition is, the more exciting it is when you have one in your hands. The edition being numbered would be a big bonus too.
I’m sure someone that likes to open their edition and appreciate what comes inside would think 3 is more important than 1.
