I would base demand on the same level as Xenoblade and Zelda Skyward sword.

Both the limited bundle versions sold out very quickly, I can't imagine Nintendo producing millions of these. It's for the Wii and more importantly Nintendo have a history of not over producing limited Editions.

I am a little surprised that the limited Japan Pre-order "Elements of the last story" is being translated. The only down side is the CD is only 7 tracks.

Nope not that I've seen or known of, I wish it was otherwise I would of picked up a copy. Though we got Xenoblade Chronicles that is coming out this year but I think it's just the normal release only

If you have been affected by this then I recommend that you jump ship like I have and order it from Zavvi.com they have it up for £37.95 at the moment!

In terms of reliability and packing, better to go with Amazon UK or get a member here to forward to you, not only are Zavvi unreliable, they generally dont pack well and leave you waiting weeks before you actually get the item

I've used zavvi 4 times in the last few months and every item(a 3ds and mgs le to name but 2) has arrived promptly and in pristine condition.

I'll admit to seeing the mgs evidence that others have posted but maybe its just bad luck for a minority(or good luck for me). Or maybe it depends on who actually delivers it. I dunno,but i'm forever a diplomat :-)

Got mine today and must say its absolutely fantastic. The cardboard is very strong and much better than that of Xenoblade which was too thin. For the price of £34.99 this has to be contender for CE of the year

Xseed said they have not made a final decision for a collectors version for North America...i am sure they will say NO.lol..but only after all the import versions are sold out..hahahahaha..or u can spend the money now...pay 2x what it's worth with shipping/forex fees..and get a locked game..and then they'd say..YES it's coming to the US..hahahaha...you lose with this 1 either way ;)

yes, HMV just "throws it in" a flimsy box..i was pissed off, when they sent over my Assassins Creed Collectors edition, with no protection, and i'm a sealed collector, and it had bumps, dents, dings, tears to the gamepackage itself along witht the plastic..i sent it back...but it was'nt smooth sailing..and to notify my card to get my money back from HMV.

Hmm not too sure about how they ship their items within UK.. but their sister site ozgameshop.. have been shipping items to Australia in good condition.

For standard games, they use hard cardboard wrap around the case.. and for CE, they are starting to use boxes to deliver the items.. Received my last CE, fully secured sturdy and bubble wrapped..

ahh.. yea they were like that when they started ogs.. but after several complains and refunds, they grew tired and upgraded the way they ship.. I think way before batman arkham city was released.. I remember receiving that pristine condition..

anyways I'll update regarding the shipping, once I receive Last Story from them :D
