Hi everyone my name is Becky, I'm from rainy Wales and for the last 19 or so years I've been playing, collecting and generally being a die hard Zelda fan :)

As I said I've spent 19 years collecting the games and other general merchandise but for the last almost 12 months I've got into sealed game collecting. It's my goal now to have every Zelda game and an extra copy sealed. Or as I like to call it, 'play and display' :)

My collection is in list form, I'm not sure if I have a rubbish camera or if I'm just great at taking bad pictures but if anyone wants to see a picture of something I'll happily do it, it just won't be great lol

I do have other games, mostly from my childhood. I've recently started a Terminator collection as I'm a huge Terminator fan so I'm looking for some of the older games for that too. I'm also a Nintendo Fangirl, I only buy Nintendo consoles and have a lot I think save for most of the GameBoys. I have NES, SNES, N64, GC, GBA, GB Pocket, GBA SP, DS Lite, 3DS, Wii and a few Ataris for good measure.

The other merch section isn't as interesting as the others but there's a few cool bits in there. I like to go in to shops a few weeks after a Zelda launch and ask for some of the promo items :P

Ocarina being probably the most popular game as voted for by many but you're not alone in liking the GB ones, I've noticed more and more people saying they prefer those. Link's Awakening for example, very popular.

I got Skyward Sword but haven't finished it yet, not even halfway through but from what I have played there's no doubt you'll enjoy it. I'm after the steelbook too but haven't seen many for sale, only ones I've seen on ebay are from Canada and they have the Link and Fi artwork on it, is that the right one?

I've been after one of these for a while, US exclusive I believe. For the console on it's own I was looking at around £50, for it boxed I was seeing around £70. I got this in a minty fresh box, original styluses, instructions, GBA slot cover, essentially scratch free for £52 so bargain in my eyes :)

The box for this is a bit worn at the edges, to be fair it was out was it 2002/2003? So 10 years old. I still remember my Mum taking me into GAME and buying it, sadly I didn't win the supposed gold one xD

It was just before these came out in June last year that I was interested in sealed game collecting, so from then on I decided to buy 2 of every Zelda game and I started with this one. Got them from 2 different places so I would get the empty box too.

Then when Skyward Sword came out in November I asked for 2 copies of it for Christmas. They both arrived the day before release day so I started playing the regular copy and put this LE box aside to be wrapped for Christmas. Still sealed.

The 3DS came out in March last year and my boyfriend bought one, which was fine for me it meant I could borrow his to play Zelda in June all while waiting for this baby to come out, which I always knew it would. Got it for Christmas, still sealed. Also with this I technically now have 3 copies of OoT3D xD

This was one of the first sealed games I bought after becoming interested in collecting them. FSA is the one Zelda game I've never played and I'm still looking for a regular copy to play. Box has some white edges and a rip on the cover but for this big box edition I've seen them go for £50 or more when they were open, so to get it sealed for the same price is good I think.

Not as far as games go I don't think so, unless there's a significant difference but even then it probably wouldn't be sealed. But Japanese merchandise I'm all for it if I can get my hands on it lol

@TZC: How wonderful and inspiring it is to see a dedicated "franchise" collector. Though I don't collect anything for Nintendo aside from a very specific set of "Gamecube" games for Resident Evil, I have to greatly admire your collection. A beautiful, beautiful collection. Aw well thank you very much :) I think my first games was probably along the lines of Donkey Kong and Pole Position for the Atari, but the first series I ever got into was Zelda and it's stuck ever since! I still remember playing ALttP and OoT with my Dad helping me lol

My collection has only really grown a lot more in the last couple years, before that it was mostly just games and bits and pieces I'd picked up along the way. It's by no means the best one I've seen but I'm looking forward to watching it grow.

Yeah there's one for Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass aswell as the paperback ones, the TP one has a large cloth map inside but looking at it on youtube is good enough for me as I don't want to open it lol

Yeah, I've got a Spirit Tracks and Skyward Sword one. My local Gamestation still has SS Guides for £10! lol Also Amazon had ST guides for £13 just before Christmas. Picked up one of those too... lol Unfortunately the other 2 hardbacks are out of my price range right now... :( Need to get a new job FAST!! XD

I wish there was more club Nintendo stuff in the catalogue, but it's not as easy to get the stuff now for me. My GF used to work in GAME and she was allowed to take the Club Nintendo cards from the preowned stock! lol Not to mention she used to get loads of staff promo Tshirts. Didn't take us too long to get the Statue. Unfortunately missed the towels when they were on there. Hoping I'll spot one at the right price on ebay sometime. Again, will have to wait til I get a job! lol

We went shopping just before Christmas and my boyfriend saw the SS guide for £10 in a shop and was a bit gutted lol he left the price sticker on mine because he didn't want to take it off incase he broke the seal lol

Haha that's a handy way of getting them though! I don't get many as I only buy Zelda games which seem to come round every half decade lol and if a new Pokemon comes out with new Pokemon in it. I got lucky a few times when we went to car boot sales my boyfriend found 2 Professor Layton games both with codes, and he's asked his younger cousins if he could have their codes for me to use. Which actually included the 3rd Layton game which meant I could get that neat little Layton box to keep the games in lol

Anyway the towel appeared one day when I was looking so I decided to get the towel and carry on saving for the statue

I got Starfox64 (or Lylat Wars to me!) for christmas so I already had one code for that, but the boyfriend wasn't buying another 3DS game until Tales of the Abyss and I don't think that was on the list lol

We only started to go to car boots last year but we need to start going again too, the last day we went we were looking at some games from an old guy who clearly buys and resells and he told us we'd been missing the biggest car boot all summer and it was a bit further down the road -_-;;

It was something I used to play all the time when I was younger so I was after it again for nostalgia reasons lol he did get TotA which meant he took the 3DS back so I haven't played much Star Fox yet! lol

Towards the end of the season we actually started to recognise the people who were going round scoping out the stalls and then taking all the games back to the same stall to resell, so we made it a bit of a game to try and get there first, we started splitting up and I'd go to one stall and he'd go to another and if I saw something I thought he'd be interested in I'd just hold it until he came over xD

I think you can only redeem one yeah, I've contemplated buying them off ebay but you're not really getting your moneys worth when they contain codes for games you've already done, which most do

Apparently those posters sold out really quick. I've stopped buying posters though. They always seem to get damaged, even when they're in poster tubes, the edges get bashed somehow. Guess I'm just useless! lol Did you see the Zelda Nintendo points cards? Same designs as the posters. I was going to pick up a set of those. :D There's also pin badges with each game cover on right back through the ages which were sold in Japan. I think they were from a "gatcha ball" style machine...

The posters at the symphony were selling out really fast but there was no way I was paying £20 each for them lol The only Zelda poster I've got up and framed is the master sword in the pedestal in the lost woods from alttp. I'm convinced a similar one came with my copy of alttp but I don't have it. I got this one from america and it's got nintendo power on it, and I love it lol

I have seen the points ones yeah but I don't have any, I've got that HMV one but that's it. Aw they sound so cool, I used to be able to get a lot of stuff from Japan when I collected pokemon merchandise because the community I belonged to had some people who lived there or bought from there reliably and frequently. Now I wouldn't have a clue where to go for japanese zelda stuff, I don't trust ebay for hong kong/japan stuff lol

The only thing i have close is the TP picture sat with my Gold statue. lol That came with an issue of Nintendo Magazine. It has a number on it aswell saying limited edition, but doesn't say out of how many... -_-' Thought it was nice so framed it! lol My GF has a nice Canvas painting on Link. not sure where it came from. Somebody she knew bought it her and she's had it longer than I've known her. lol I'll try get a pic of it! :D

I've always been abit wary of what I've bought off ebay. If I get something I believe to be counterfeit I report it anyway and get my money back off paypal! lol Has only happened a few times! lol Just don't buy anything that has a location as Hong Kong. XD

Yeah I've bought a few small things from hong kong through ebay, phone covers, cables etc. but I'd never buy anything big. I just recently bought a sealed PH for the second time on ebay and had to get a refund, first time I got one it was fake (but from the UK) US cover in a white DS box, and the one I've not long sent back was legit but had a rip in the cellophane and a huge ass sticker on the back that they failed to mention lol I'm not having much luck!

Yeah, there aren't many. Only one's I can think of are the F4F statues, Silver DSL, "Big Box" Seasons/Ages, "Big Box" Majora's Mask (Would literally kill for one), "Big Box" Minish Cap SP Bundle and Club Nintendo statue.

I can't draw either. Not a creative bone in my body!! XD GF can draw though. One of us has to be creative! lol

That really annoys me when people don't fully describe the condition of items on ebay. How hard is it really!? They should know they're just going to get a load of hassle later on, so why even bother!? >.<

lol I've already asked him to give me a call if he gets another one of those DSL. lol Not going to hold my breath though... >.< That'll be a one off. :( There's a retro game store not far from me aswell, which I go to, occasionally to see if he gets anything new in. Got a little shopping list with him aswell. lol Hoping he might be able to get some stuff for me, but he's quite expensive when he gets good stuff in! lol Although, before Christmas he did have a brand new Panasonic Q Gamecube for £220. Was gutted! ;_;

Yeah, ebay always side with the buyer. That's why I won't sell expensive stuff on there. That's what gumtree or local listings are for! It's not uncommon for somebody to file a complaint against a seller then send a box of rocks or crap back with tracking. The second you sign for it, you lose your money! My mate learnt that the hard way... -_-'

Not to mention all the fees are outrageous! by the time you sell the item and pay your fees, there's not much left! lol

Yeah that's why I was unsure about the one I bought at first. I'd never seen one before. only pictures online and never of the actual box and packaging. There was loads on ebay around the release of it, but they were all stock pictures and no actual photos, so I gave it a miss. I fell for one of those cheap recases before. I bought a Yellow pikachu DSL. The pictures were actual photos of a DSL and they claimed that would be the one I would receive. Looked genuine and when I got it, you could tell it was a fake. you could see the speakers behind the plastic when you opened it up for a start, big black circles. Then the box was just a standard DSL box with a yellow DS on and was nothing like the box they were originally in. Was gutted. :( Managed to get a refund, but was really annoyed. Should've known £250 was too good to be true! lol

Yeah, unfortunately there's always someone trying to rip somebody off online. :(

Very nice. I assume the Skyward sword sleeve was from display boxes in stores? o.0 Might see if they've got any floating around when I'm next out... :D Can't say I've ever seen those TP postcards before... o.0 They're nice, especially with the triforce embossed envelope! :D

Been trying to get one of those Ocarinas for a while aswell. Hoping to find another complete set of Greek preorder items come up, but they usually out of my price range when I do. Haven't seen a complete set for a while though, so might have to look for them individually... Fun... lol

It was yeah, my new favourite hobby is going into stores and asking if they have any spare lol the long box was from games exchange, I asked my boyfriend to go and ask if they had any spare while I stood over the road guarding his giant sonic generations display boxes he got from gamestation. They said I could have it but only if I bought a poster lol small price to pay!

I got mine for free when I went to Eurogamer Expo in September. A guy came up to me and said they were doing a quiz at the Link statue and to join the queue. I did and they ask you a question, if you get it right you got an ocarina, I think if you got it wrong you got a keyring, both I think were pre order items I know the ocarina was and I was trying to get them all anyway so the chance to get it for free I was right there! The hat still eludes me lol and there's a skyward sword hat out too.

Yeah, the keyring was a preorder bonus too. Here's (http://www.zeldauniverse.net/zelda-news/oot3d-pre-order-bonuses-in-greece/) what Greece got for OoT preorders... Shame they weren't giving away the "Deku Tree" seeds tin! :D It's the only thing I REALLY wanted from those preorder bonuses. lol

Yeah I used to be able to do the, go into stores and ask for preorder stuffs. It got to a point where the staff members got used to me coming in at my local stores and they used to keep a set of xbox preorder bonuses by every couple weeks... lol The staff have all changed at my local stores now, and they won't give me stuff anymore... :( Send my GF in instead and she can usually get stuff for meh. :D Hardly do it anymore though... :(

Also, where did you get your Symphony Programme from and how much? Can't see any on ebay... :(

I suppose that's how it's handy for me with Zelda games as it's really not often at all that I'd have to do that. By the time there is another game out there could well be different staff there too lol Plus our nearest high street that has any game shops in is about a 30min drive away so I doubt they remember us lol

From the concert premiere in London last year, it was free you got it given to you on the way in. I see them on ebay but theyre normally listed with other things, search zelda sort by newly listed and just keep going you'll find one lol

Well it cost me a fortune aswell and we had to travel well over 200miled by train to get there, and we went to Final Fantasy Distant worlds the week after I don't know how we managed it lol But it was great! Zelda Williams was there, Koji Kondo came out and played a song, we saw Eiji Anouma... even when they told us that the concerts this year are longer with more stuff I was like no I'm too happy with this, I've heard and seen these songs played live the only difference is I'd hear more songs so we're not going to bother with it this year.

They're there I swear I've seen them, maybe there isn't many anymore

I've learnt now, somehow I don't know exactly how, to look at ebay and see things I want and then I just put them on a list of things I want and one day I will buy them lol

The VIP tickets were £100 and thats what you got with it, I was pretty pleased really as I already had the ocarina and keyring, we still got a programme and my boyfriend subscribes to edge so I'd already read that. The only thing I'd missed out on was the SS lanyard, the bit of plastic that says VIP and meeting the guys - which I'm not really too fussed about as I wouldn't know what to say! lol

The front of her headpiece has come off?? That's terrible. Are they normally packed in a lot of polystyrene with the shape cut in the middle? If they are it'd have to be a pretty big whack or drop to break that off

Only damage I've seen to a statue is the club nintendo TP one and Links arm. hand was broken off!

Yeah, they're packed really well and there was no sign of impact damage to the box or shipping container, so I think it was prob broken during packaging when they were putting the 2 polystyrene blocks together... -_-' Apparently quite a few peoples figures got damaged. I just hope they don't ask me to destroy the old piece before they send me a new one, because I couldn't do it... :( Somebody on another forum had to destroy a Dark Link Statue.

That's the problem with statues. unless they are packaged properly, they will break. I had 2 TP ones break before I got a good one. One of them the sword broke, then the other the arm broke. Thankfully I got replacements from Nintendo, but it was really annoying... >.<

Yeah, they are all limited and numbered. I know why they want them destroyed, but it'd still be hard for me to do!! XD How could anyone destroy something so beautiful!? >.< If they ask for midna to be destroyed, i'll refuse and tell them it's compensation for the inconvenience caused and for extending the edition number! lol

I'm gonna skip on buying a full set. Will gradually get em one by one. I'll be happy with just the seeds tbh!! XD

They require photo evidence of the destroyed figure... I reckon they get some sick satisfaction out of it! :P jk, it's to make sure they stay limited. Still not going to destroy Midna though. Will keep the broken one for display and the good one stored so it can't be damaged! She feels really fragile! >.<

If I got some seeds, I'd keep them sealed. I just want them on my shelf. I thought they were quite a random promo. lol Apparently they're Acacia seeds in the tin, so if I wanted to grow them, I'd just source the seeds somewhere else instead of opening my Zelda Tin!! XD

The TP lanyard I got off eBay it's probably not even official lol but I like it. I got it the same time I was looking for the other lanyards and I'd never seen it before so I got it.

The combat cards are I think like a top trumps sort of thing? I can't remember what they say now it's been ages since I opened the pack but here's an internet picture

i paid a premium for my steels but they are nice, yep the statue is mahoosive, you would get a few quid if ya took it to a scrapyard and weighed it in, shit myself when it turned up, big crazy box at the door. haha mines staying in its box too, unless i get broken into, then its going over someones head!!!!

The Feather stylus was sent out from NOA when you registered the Phantom Hourglass on Club Nintendo within a certain period. Like the Soundtrack CD for OoT3D! :D
