Did you get your hands on the NTSC and JAP Hd Collection LE?

I didn't get the Konamistyle MGS HD premium pack, I had to choose between that and the KS Peace Walker PP so chose that instead.

No mine hasn't been in a magazine but the pics are floating around the net on various forums so maybe you saw them somewhere. There are far greater and more rare MGS collections out there, but m ine is special because it's mine :thumb:

You have an awesome collection of different LE/CE's (watching a slide show now) I never knew there was an ICO collectors edition box, that must be a Japanese release right? I always regret selling my copy with the slipcase and art cards.

I'm kind of an "all around" collector but I'm very picky about what platform for what series etc. and I impose all kinds of "rules" on my habit LOL (like they work... *roll eyes) Yes the ICO HD remake box set was Japan and it is GORGEOUS. One of my most prized editions. Japan always knows how to do it best. I was also able to snag a "like new" copy of the original Limited edition ICO for PS2 w/ art cards (and same for Shadow of Colossus). Both are really nice editions. So pretty much I have a complete ICO collection I'm very proud of. It's REALLY hard to find the first ICO LE sealed. I searched a long time, best I found was "like new". SoTC LE is more common.

I have a LOT more pictures to add my friend. Been lazy in updating. I have some INCREDIBLE new collectibles...

You're right, the Japanese stuff is almost always best! The ICO with art cards, was that a PAL exclusive or did the NTSC regions have it as well?...obviously mine (which I foolishly sold to fund my MGS obsession) was a PAL version.

Hey Gaz, what is that thing just behind ME1 LCE NTSC on the left side of the picture? It's got a tan border around it w/ black in the middle and it says Mass effect on the bottom and N7 in two places...

Can you tell me what this is and where you got it? Never seen this. Thanks!

It's a wallet and wristband set, I was told when I bought it that it was only available at some kind of convention, not sure how accurate that is but I've never seen another set like this. I've seen the wallet and wristbands available separately though.

If I remember rightly I got it with a few other bits from ebay, can't remember how much it cost though.

Yeah, they are very rare indeed, I got mine from my brother who deals with video game soundtracks, lucky he had spare copies other wise I don't think I would ever have been able to add it to my collection.

It's a really nice OST I love the MGS2 red and white artwork, you have to be careful though as there are loads of bootlegs around, never trust stock pictures.

I'd also like the black and white sorters but they are crazy prices....One day.

This is so true, there is a incredible amount of fakes out there for soundtracks. Many from Miya Rrcords.

That Digipak design soundtrack looks awesome, is that Japan only.

Yeah the white edition was a konamistyle exclusive very limited in numbers, the black version was a lottery only release and limited to 100....Mega rare.

That is a Polish pre order bonus litho of Shep designed by patryk olejniczak, who won a Mass Effect fan art competition. I think Bioware employed him as a concept artist afterwards.

It's really small (A5) and is on thin paper....No where near the quality as a proper litho....Great image though.

Gaz, where did you get your plastic sleeves for your games and books? Looking for some for my stuff as well. Need some for DVD sized cases, blu-ray cases as well as the thicker Subsistence case, and art books.

For the DVD and bluray sized games I just used these cheapo resealable ones from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200-14mm-DVD-CASE-WRAPPING-SLEEVES-COVERS-STRONG-RESEALEABLE-/150712960828?pt=UK_Computing_Sound_Vision_Media_Ca ses_Storage&hash=item231731473c they do split after multiple uses though, so I tend not to take them out much. For the subsistence game I used a comic book bag and just taped it around the back, not perfect but it keeps it in nice condition and looks OK from the front, I get them from my local comic book shop. For bigger items (LE boxes and the like) I got some florists cellophane and wrapped them like you would wrap up a birthday or xmas prezzie. You can get magazine sized comic bags as well, these do for all but the biggest of game guides/art books. I'm yet to find a decent sleeve for the double disc PS1 games though, if you find any let me know :)

Oh, remember to put a small cut in the bottom of the sleeve to let some air in, this is important especially with already factory sealed items as they tend to sweat and accumulate moisture if they don't get any air flow. (I just cut the bottoms corners off)

The pistol is really heavy and well made with great detailing, no other gimmicks except for the lights though.

Yeah right, have you seen the price of the full size litho's on ebay? I missed them when they were on sale at the Bioware store as I was concentrating on MGS stuff at the time. If you see any full size signed Illium, Omega or Afterlife lithos (at a reasonable price) let me know!

I have never had a lag issue that I noticed on Vita... just a slight latency that would affect FPS games slightly. Also you should never use the internet to connect, always direct connect.

Yeah I need to get one of those really big cards, are they in the US yet? Last I knew there were not knock offs yet as it is a proprietary port but they might have made some as of now.

Tearaway is not for me but you might like it. One game I got for PS+ that was a pleasant surprise was Muramasa Rebirth... great hack and slash game and perfect on the vita for in and out play. Same goes for Soul Sacrifice... awesome game and was free awhile back as well.

Nice update! ^^ How would you rate the grading and the archiving done by UKG and the quality of the boxes? Is it good value for money and would you recommend it? :D

I have nothing to compare them to but the quality of the cases seems good to me, I'm happy with the grades they received. In terms of value for money I'd say it is value for money when you compare the price of just a slide bottom case to the full grading service. Also they are based about ten minutes away from me so I could drop them off and pick them up from the guys dads house.

It did take longer than I hoped from start to finish though, about a month. If I had to wait for postage it would have taken longer.

Overall I'm happy with them and am considering getting some more stuff done.

Not sure if you're an art collector but Mondo recently released a Ghost in the Shell print for special GitS screening they held this year. It was done by one of my personal favorite artists, Martin Ansin.

In terms of value for money I'd say it is value for money when you compare the price of just a slide bottom case to the full grading service. Also they are based about ten minutes away from me so I could drop them off and pick them up from the guys dads house.

It did take longer than I hoped from start to finish though, about a month. If I had to wait for postage it would have taken longer.

Overall I'm happy with them and am considering getting some more stuff done.

Ooops, I forgot I posted here! XD Yeah the cases look great. I was thinking of getting some stuff done, if ever I have some money to spare. Will look into UKG instead of VGA. Seems like a better alternative for us Brits. Lol

You can get reg Ansin GitS print for $100.00 (maybe less) and it's the same edition size as the foil (which will most likely go down in price now that the reg has been released) and honestly IMO the Killian Eng poster is a much better print for the film (the Ansin seems like it should been for the SAC) and it can be had for less than a $100.00.

Well that is only part of it. I know most places have gotten better due to use telling them they are doing it wrong and returns. But I mean also they are hard to store without damaging them and if you are taking them in and out of things they are easy to accidentally damage. But it is just a preference and option. Then rolling and unrolling. Arg.

Yeah the box is really sturdy and the printing is very vibrant and shiny. The foam cutouts are nice and stiff as well, keep the items snugly in place. There are more items included under the game as well, art cards, manuals etc, I just forgot to take them out when i photographed it.

I wrapped it up in cellophane now so I don't really want to take it off to photo the rest.
