As matrix said, Zavvi and the hut are the same company. The £12 saving over Amazon however has made the choice harder. Personally I would go with the Hut and risk it if your in UK. if outside avoid them if possible.

I can't imagine this one selling out though, The game is completely unheard of in the UK for consoles anyway.

Thanks guys! ^o^ I went for Zavvi in the end. I'll take my chances with it and if it comes damaged, I'll just kick up a fuss with them. As you said, it's not likely to be a sell out so they might have extras and exchange it for meh! lol

Unfortunately money is a bit of an issue at the moment, but hopefully won't be come the release of this. We'll see! lol

I try find about shipping outside CR, JRC (GAME Czech) is delivered only to CR, Xzone I am not sure, but U can try ask..

pre-ordes is not problem, but shipping I think will be :/ this will be BIG box (I hope) and pretty heavy, so shipping cost will be high :( DHL, FeDex etc ask for 2kg package about 130eur, czech post service send with economy (6-10days) for 20eur to Great Britain (30eur max).

I think that telescope may become as a separate collector's item. Looks pretty high quality, so I doubt they'll throw that into a CE of some form. It's better of sold separately, just hope they make easily available though.

I think shipping price from Czech or Polland will be very close, up to 3kg package with polish post service to Great Britain / Scotland will be economy 67zlt, its about 16eur

I got a reply back of brloh.sk and was told that they don't ship intenationally and that they don't think they're going to get enough stock of the Risen 2 CE to fill demand for it in Slovakia. Here's the email I got from them:

Nice spot! Have just preordered this now from amazon! Haven't had a problem with Zavvi so far, but amazon has a better customer service so if it gets trashed in the post, I know amazon will sort it! :D

I cancelled mine Stahlbarts Schatz treasure version because I am worried about quality of that chest its not wood/steel or plastic
I think around January it was tagged steel but they probably changed it because of funds not sure about this because my German and memory sucks ^^
but it come with certificate, its numbered and PC version only so pretty limited

now for keg I don't know about Poland or Czech but as for Slovakia now.
I only seen 2 stores that opened pre orders.
1 closed within day other one in 2 or 3.
I really doubt that there been more than 30 copies of it

I still hope that some more shops will open preorder for this as I been checking 3 stores right now but still no luck.:sorry:

Even if it was a really wooden box, I still would've got the keg over it anyway! :D With it being slightly cheaper and all... :P I haven't got the room for both, so I'll be happy with just the keg! ^o^

Yeah, I've received smaller CE's from amazon.de that arrive with dents and corners squished, they just don't pack it very well even in oversized box with little stuffing inside.

Can't believe the Keg Edition is cheaper...and that's the console version!
Even if the chest was made of real wood, it'd most likely be from pine wood (similar to Dead Island Treasure Box) with stickers on the outside?? (ala Far Cry 2 CE)

I actually thought that the barrell version was much more than than what it actually is. So had to order when I realised.

Im guessing the kegs are being produced in Poland hence only being available for that market.

The rest of the contents are exactly the same.

Yeah, it's going to cost me about £90 for the keg version including p&p, where as the chest is 100 Euro on amazon and I assume there will be a pretty high shipping cost on something so big, to go on top of the 100 euros. lol

It's hard to say. Don't know how limited the chest version is. I personally think the keg version will be the more limited one.

It is also used in cases of fraudulent activity.
I googled it and found a pesel generator!!! lol

in the german forum, they say "jaffar comes with a blue feather on the hat". just wanted to mention that, due to the authenticity and value of the edition for collectors...

There's beatiful feather in a small foil inside keg. So don't worry. Keg is packed alone with plenty of bubble foil. There's no outer box. :) If you have any more questions, just ask, but response may last a little because i'm playing. :D

they try to translate manuals to CZ and then almost all games in cz/sk got black/white manuals or even smaller versions or even some bad CE like space marine

I really hate when I order something in CZ or SK and then they sent it edited or translated box with really bad manual or missing content

It isn't something new, that east european (meaning Europe east of the easternmost EU member states) and eastern Steam-keys are region locked, due to the fact that they are much cheaper over there. Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic are EU member states, so activating and playing the game without further actions (e.g. IP tunneling) shouldn't be a problem (in fact it should be against EU law if it would be a problem).

The one's in these videos, I think it's safe to assume are review copies... The link above in the description says the Editior received Risen 2 CE and the youtube video looks like it was shot in an office! lol

Thanks for the reassurance, none of those videos showed a number on the Keg, and I guess there was any on the back either otherwise they may have noticed it?! I wasn't too impress with either unboxing videos as they did it in the wrong environment. Such edition should have been done like the German Edition, the 2nd video from the gaming site was worse because of the dark room they did it in which looked more like a torture room! :spiteful: Plus, the angle of the camera shooting was very bad!

This Keg is so awesome, so much authentic look about it and way better than the Dead Island Treasure Edition imo.
Too bad I have to wait for mine as the console editions are delayed :(
