Howdy from North Carolina!

Greetings! I was so excited to find this community on the web. I've been an amateur video game collector for a few years now - well, all my life really, but only now seriously. I was the kid who never threw the boxes away, etc.

Anyway, since gaming started with the whole collector's edition craze, I was right there buying them. Initially it was because they generally came with a soundtrack or making of DVD, but I've amassed so many of these things that's it's getting serious. Fortunately, I have a very understanding wife. I also have some non-collector's edition vintage PC games.

I'll try and get some photos together, but for now (I'm at work) I'll just list some highlights of my collection. Note - I've always been a "remove the shrinkwrap" sort of collector. All of my games are used, but I do try to keep the boxes etc in good condition:

Woo always good to see PC collections. I collect PC exclusively, though I haven't actually posted my own collection.

Looking forward to seeing the pics! The complete WoW set is cool - I only have the original and cataclysm, since I stopped playing before WotLK came out.

One thing worth mentioning about this picture is the CD in the sleeve is the pre-order character builder cd that I put in the box. Also, some of the documentation there is from the pre-order box. Also in the docs is every postcard I received from Sony with free-weekend offers etc. My EQ2 Collection is quite complete :-)

Oh my god! Absolutely love those old PC big boxs and collector's editions. They are eternal jewels! Diablo, The Elder Scrolls, Baldur's Gate (Forgotten Realms) - my most favourite realms. :)
