Hey everyone, I've been coming to this site for a little while now, but just signed up recently. I collect any xbox 360 game that has it's own achievement list as well as faceplates, controllers, and accessories!

I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I'll try and get some.

This seems like an awesome community, I hope I can contribute and be active. Thanks!

Damn you! My Cousin has a launch team xbox 360. My Auntie was working for Rare at release. So jealous! >.< What's etched onto the metal plate on the HDD? o.0 I know that it has the date on most of them as default, but you could get a personalised etching too! :D

White slim? That's smart! :D Is that an official MS colour somewhere in the world? o.0

Nice set of faceplates you got there too. :D I was collecting Faceplates at a point, but needed the cash and sold alot of them on! :( kept my favourites though! :D Where are those 2 from in the bottom pic though? o.0 Never seen them before! :D

3rd pic down, light blue controller, very far right in packet, check out the hole in the package, only eagle eyes can spot it!!!! unless you cut the security tag out yourself!!:taunt:

Lol, gu8 needs his own TV show. Only few have the skills to make a sealed controller look nice with a hole in it :) stupid security tags :(

Yeah it says Xbox Launch 05. I really just wanted the controller, but I'm a sucker for hard drives as well. I'm glad to see other faceplate collectors here. I've seen them around before and finally got them not too long ago. Here are the descriptions from xboxaddict

1st one

"This plate was made to celebrate the success of the 2008 Microsoft Game Studios line-up."

2nd one

"This plate was made to promote the success of the xbox live arcade."

The White xbox is an official one that came out less than a month ago. The only place that I've seen it has been Gamestop. The controller is sold at other stores, but I'm not positive about the console. Thanks for the interest. :)

That's a cool etching. I think the default was "25th November 2005". Atleast you got one with a custom etching on! :D My Auntie got my Cousin's names etched on their's! :D Been dying to get my mitts on one. May I ask how you acquired your's and how much? :D

Those faceplates are smart. I remember xboxaddict. It was like my bible when I was looking for faceplates! XD I still have a few which you can see on my photobucket (http://s1088.photobucket.com/albums/i339/Cosmic_Link/Games%20and%20Stuffs/) if you're interested! :D

That'd explain why I've never seen it before. The only white xbox slim I saw was the one painted by colorware. :D Very nice! ^o^

I'm pretty happy with it though :) I was trying to win it on ebay and missed out on it, but two weeks later my brother showed up with it, so I was pretty excited. I believe he got it for around $400 or so for it. I would have loved to be your cousin. :) it would have costed me $400 less lol.

I really like your Blue Dragon and Toy2R plates. I've seen some on ebay from time to time. Just gotta find the whole set for the right price :)

Impressive collection DBMB and belated welcome! You don't see collector's much with a specific focus on hardware accessories like faceplates, systems and controllers. I love it! I hope to have a better controller collection someday but for now all I have are 2 limited editions (the orange TRON xbox controller and the Fable 3).

Still $400 for it is a fantastic price! :D The last time I saw one on here, it was some Irish fellow selling it and I thing it sold for just shy of 1,000 Euro... >.< Was gonna pick up a broken one years ago and just take the side grills and HDD and put em on mine! lol Didn't bother in the end because I couldn't find a controller... >.<

The Blue Dragon Faceplate is one of my favourites! :D Managed to get the seller to get hold of a Nene figure to ship over with it aswell! :D Was well pleased! lol

My GF bought me the Toy2R one a few years ago for Christmas. Has a nice smell to it! lol

@driv3r Yes that is the one! I'm really hoping to save up for the whole console bundle that it came with since it has a special controller, but if that doesn't happen, I'd really appreciate your help!

@foreverflash Lucky! :( I really wanted the Tron controllers, but it seems way out of my price range to get a hold of them now. Pretty sweet though, at least you have the most limited one if you ever decide to get them all :)

@Cosmic I know what you mean. I originally was going to just get the faceplate and hope the controller shows up for sale, but I didn't want to spend a lot and take a chance of not getting all the pieces.

@gurpswoo1 It's called Give 2008. It's by far my favorite. The color and design is amazing. Plus I love just about every game shown on it lol :)
