Like a lot of us, I have been on this website for quite sometime now and I think it is time for me to stop by, introduce myself and share my collection with you guys. Since I have been here, I have been pretty much surfing this website daily to discover new (and old... love going through old pictures from different members again and again) amazing collections, to also find great deals and make awesome friends that share the same passion!:hug: Special shout to Jugo, Drive3r, Sirren, Ayiu, Mawa, Sevket (I know you have one of the biggest AC collection out there too! :surrender:) and TwistedSymphony :wave: Please TwistedSymphony keep this website alive because your work is amazing. All I can say is that from what I have seen thus far we have so many different ways to show our passion of collecting video games. Some would collect very rare games (old and new), some would only focus on certain gaming systems, some would focus in only one game serie, or would collect only press kits and other rare goodies ect... Well for my part like my title said I collect everything that pertains to the Assassin's Creed Franchise and collect mainly PS3 versions

I started with only the first AC game itself not even a CE or anything. I played it, beat it and fell in love with it. I decided to build the most amazing collection out there to please me and maybe one day share it with all the fans out there. :1: I know a lot of you guys do not like the game (Bbki hehe :quote:) and I might understand why...Don't get me wrong, as much as I love the serie the games is starting to get redundant and the fact that every year, a new game comes out doesn't help! I also wish that there was a lapse of time before releasing a new opus like between 2007-2008. But I guess marketing wise it is impossible! Ubisoft has to make $$!! Oh and yes, I am very frustrated with all the different versions of the game for different countries!

I am sure if Ubisoft or like some people might think, seeing my collection would make them laugh and think what the hell is wrong with this guy? Well, I enjoyed collecting rare items and I might as well do it with something I like. :blush:

I have 1 rare art piece from ubiworkshop (numbered out of 52/70 - the "western" assassin's creed concept art absolutely LOVE it). I also have a couple promo items and merchandise like the San Diego ComicCon pendant and trinkets/clothes from the ubiworkshop store. Someday I'll complete my collection.

Hey Chau, what are those books there next to "The Fall Deluxe" that show Ezio as young, older and oldest? I'm very interested in those. I thought I had all relevant media for AC (books/guides/comics) but I guess not...unless those books were released only in Europe?

From what I understood, "The Fall" was the only official comic series released for AC franchise so these French books have confused me. Are they all hardcover? Are they graphic novels or individual comic issues? Would be strange if they were hardcover AND individual issues...don't think I've ever seen that done...

Indeed ForeverFlash! These are individuals and hardcover made by a new Edition called "Les deux Royaumes" which translate into " The two Kingdoms". From my guess they were made only to French speakers (France, Belgium, Canada?) as I never heard about any translation ( I might be wrong). I haven't read them yet but from what I heard is that the Tome 1 is based on connecting the story between AC1 and AC2. The comic is not that well rated and only worthy to read it if you are a huge fan. I also heard that the story line doesn't stick with the game (AC2) when you play it. So all in all, if you don't speak French and if you don't mind having an average comic book I would avoid it.

I am both of that so I got them and will probably read it on my spare time. Hope this help.

thank you jugolicious i have been searching for it for 2 years and even ubisoft staff said they never seen it, even though i always sent them images from the exhibition galleries they held in France and japan it was always on display.

Sorry for the late response but I have been MIA for the last couple days...Thank you all very much for all your kind words!

@Xenocard: So from what I have heard, it is a very very rare item (as rare as press kits) and it is definitely a must own if you are a die hard AC fan. This being said, it has never been sold to the public. According to some AC collector site, this figurine was targeted for the spain market as the AC Collector figurine that would come with the game but the editors decided to drop that figurine released due to the stand and eventually the square box it came with it. It wasn’t the right proportion and they went for the one we all know (Altair standing in the collector edition). A lot of people are wondering how many were made but some forum are advancing the number 100. I have personally no idea about that number but all I know is that it might be close to 100 or less. This figurine has been given away to AC competition winners and Ubisoft employees to thank them for their great work. Other than that and ebay this figurine is VERY rare! Like Jugo mentioned the last one went for over 700 euro and to be honest with you, I don't think you will find one on eBay anytime soon... Be on the look out though!

@Chrissy: I do have it. Check out the link to Flickr and look in the overall picture. The item is in the mug and you can find it in another picture next to the messenger bag ;) thank you for the heads up tough ^_^

I'm curious Chau, can you tell me if you have ALL AC press kits (1, 2, brotherhood and revelations)? Do you also have all promotional material (like tshirts, wristbands, necklace...all stuff from the ubiworkshop.com (http://collectorsedition.org/forums/ubiworkshop.com) and conventions like E3 for example)? Real life replicas like swords and hidden blades?

I am only missing 4 things (important enough that I am aiming to get one day): The Hand model hidden blade replica limited + The ring with the red wax + The venetician mask

I do not have unimportant goodies like "Keychains", "Mousepad", unofficial mugs ect... I only go sometimes for unofficial when I find the item kinda interesting such as one of the print.

I actually got the 2 hoodie (black and white) with eagle and one hat but besides that I'm still debating on getting more apparels... unless they are "promotional apparel" such as T-shirt given with press kit and so on. I might get couple of them but a lot on Ubiworkshop already sold out... :sick: oh well I cannot collect "everything"... :swoon:

Some are brand new and only tried on. Others have been worn a few times. I have one of the harlequin tshirts that is unused XL US size and I only tried on once. It was sold out at ubiworkshop.com Because I buy tshirts a lot I find even though I buy XL all the time, some shirts are cut smaller or larger and some are skinny, while others are loose. The worst thing is when they use a scratchy, thick cotton. I hate those shirts and throw them right in the BIN LOL:ghey:

That's an awe-inspiring Collection you have there Chau! This is the first time I've seen some of these items. I had a few questions for you and hope you don't mind answering them. I'm an AC collector myself and hope to gain new insight into easier/cheaper method of obtaining rare items. If not, I understand and you can just skip the rest of this post.

I was wondering if you could tell us how you obtained the art prints + CoAs? I remember Ubisoft sold a few of these prints at art exhibitions a few years back (the ones I'm aware of took place in France and another in Japan) but I was unable to visit them. Is there any other way to buy these prints?

And I'm sure you get this question sometimes, but are you a journalist for a website/paper? It seems like the only way to obtain these press kits is to either dish out vast amounts of money on ebay or if Ubi sends you one.

Do you have close-up pictures of "Ezio's Fury" facial sculpt? All the vids and pics I've come across so far don't show the face directly.

Regarding the Art prints, I got them at different places. FYI, all art prints come with a certificate of Authentification with limited number written on it. The "Ezio Rose" and the "jumping altair" I got them through "Arludik" limited at 149 each. I believe they are still some available via their website.http://www.arludik.com/indexeng2.htm
Arludik do most of the Assassin Creed exhibition in Paris France. They also sell "unique" painting going from as low as 250 euros to couple thousands. Last time I checked there was only couple left and not the most prettiest one... http://www.arludik.com/indexeng2.htmThey also partnered with a store in France called "FNAC". They sold the 4 limited prints at 119 each pieces and there is only 2kind of prints left still available but FNAC do not ship overseas so you need to know someone who lives in France to get them... http://recherche.fnac.com/Search/SearchResult.aspx?SCat=0%211&Search=arludik+assassin+creed&sft=1&submitbtn=Ok

And finally the other 3 prints limited at 110 each from the artist Martin Deschambault were available on the Ubisoft store website France and some other European countries. If you were located in the US or non european zone, there was no way you could order these prints unfortunately. These prints are pretty amazing and I believe they sold out fast... I got lucky to even get them... Your only chance for these prints would be on ebay and still... =(

I am not a journalist or working in the media/video game industry at all. All the press kits I have are the fruits of a lot of dedication and hard work. I managed to sneak some on ebay but most of them were connections I managed to make online...

Regarding the Crouching Altair figurine I mentioned it in another thread and here's what I wrote (copy and paste):

" The figurine is indeed pretty rare although I have seen couple in the past few months on ebay. So from what I have heard, it is a very rare item (as rare as the AC press kits) and it is definitely a must own if you are a die hard AC fan. This being said, it has never been sold to the public. According to some AC collector site, this figurine was targeted for the Spain market (and given as pre-order bonus) like ours AC1 Collector figurine that came with the game (standing) but the in the middle of the distribution, editors decided to drop that figurine released due to the stand and eventually the "square box" it came with it. It wasn’t the right proportion and they went for the one we all know (Altair standing in the collector edition). A lot of people are wondering how many were made but some forum are advancing the number 100. I have personally no idea about that number but all I know is that it might be close to 100 or less. This figurine has been given away to AC competition winners and Ubisoft employees to thank them for their great work. Other than that and ebay this figurine is VERY rare! Last two one I saw went for 720 euros and 500 euros respectively. The price will vary depending on the condition and if the figurine comes with the original box."
