I must say that I'm very positive that I have been cheated by this seller, unfortunately, unless something went extremely wrong. But the fact is that I waited over 2 months and the original item and the replacement (the latest should have been sent on May 1st) never arrived and he hasn't done much to explain why. No tracking code was ever provided. Not to mention that his replies are kinda slow. I'm very disappointed. I've bought at least one item from him in the past and it arrived fine but this time I have my serious doubts if the item was even sent in first place. I've left a negative feedback after contacting a member of the staff. I think it's quite justifiable. Unfortunately this is how it goes...

Hey guys I ordered 5 things from Jacobpegpog over the past couple weeks and I recieved it today, I hope you all get your stuff soon! Jacob might not always respond the quickest but he definately doesnt seem the type of guy to intentionally cheat anyone so maybe there really was a big mix up.

I seriously doubt he purposefully cheated you, but at the same time when it's been two months and the seller isn't doing much in the way of communication... Yeah, negative feedback isn't uncalled for.

Hopefully things work out anyways.

The kit was returned to me a couple of weeks ago, so can only assume there has some complication when they tried to deliver to the address you supplied me.

I sent the kit again, for the third time, last Friday. I'll provide you with a tracking code to prove this tomorrow.

I apologise for the recent lack of communication, however I've only been in the country twice over the last 2 weeks. I personally don't feel that negative feedback after I sent a replacement item and didn't ask for any shipping costs after 3 attempts is really fair, but so be it.

Toni - Your item was also sent on Friday and I'll send you the tracking number tomorrow.

I don't see how my negative feedback is not fair - it may be unfair from your perspective, but it can't be unfair if you were in my place. You didn't ask for any shipping costs for 3 attempts or anything like that, I might recognize that, but you could even tell me you've sent it 10 times for free that to me it would be the same: no item, no tracking, nothing. What would you expect me to think? I've been quite patient so far. You could just have sent the tracking and I would blame the postal services. But I have patiently waited for over 2 months and I decided to send you a last e-mail a couple of days ago and waited for your reply before leaving negative feedback. I have been talking to one of the admins and he knows well what happened. I never asked for my money back either, I just wanted the item.

Just send me the tracking codes you have for the two last delivery attempts. If you do that and I find out it was the post service's fault, I'll try to take action. Heck, I'll even pay you the shipping costs for the two deliveries that failed if you show me solid proof.

I don't understand why Jacob won't respond to Saturn with a more direct approach. I have had nothing but good interaction with Jacob. Saturn, are you sure you gave him the correct address in the right format? I'm just trying to figure this out to myself. It doesn't make sense...

I have done business with him several times, for very valuable items, and I have been very happy with the results. I received both shipments in near perfect condition. Jacob was also a bit slow to respond to me but I eventually got my items, feedback was left (both ways) and all was well!

I just can't for the life of me understand why a member so involved and with such a positive record would not do what is right here and give the tracking numbers (if they were promised in the first place). In some cases, like with me, I can't give anyone international a tracking #, I can only give customs numbers - but I'm pretty sure it's different with where Jacob lives and the service he uses. For me, USPS does not offer international tracking with their main options.

Could it be that something has happened IRL to distract Jacob from this? Such as famil emergency etc?

I too have dealt with Jacob in the past, spent like £200 on some press kits, received them within the same week (bearing in mind I am also in the UK) and left feedback and all was perfect.

I doubt he's not responding on purpose, I imagine it is something in his personal life that is causing him to be non-responsive.

I know Josh for 2 years, even before joining this forum. I met him through ebay, several times we did transactions over paypal, and he has always been honest and prompt. Sends items by special delivery garunteed service. Yes I do agree that Saturn had some unpleasant experience, but I am telling my previous experiences and can vouch for Jacob. He is 100% reliable and trustworthy in my humble opinion. Give him an oppostunity to clear his case. Cheers :)

Don't get me wrong. I've been very patient up to this point. I have an ebay account with almost 10 years of existance and over 1000 points of positive feedback atill at 100%. I haven't left a neutral or negative feedback in months or even years even with I receive stuff damaged due to terrible packaging, the item is not exactly as described etc. The last thing I would want to do was to leave negative feedback to a member from this forum, especially considering I had already dealt with him in the past and everything went fine.

The communication went fine at the beginning. After I sent the payment, he asked me to confirm when the item arrived, and I promptly replied. This was on March 10. Then I never heard from him again. He didn't reply to his topic or to my PMs. The next time I was able to get in touch with him was by e-mail on April 12h after I contacted an admin. I believe that, even after waiting over one month, my first e-mail to him was kind/comprehensive and he replied the same day. He apologised and I gladly accepted that. I though everything would be solved by that time. But then no further response was received until May 1st. He promptly replied to my e-mail saying a replacement was being sent the next day. Finally, over 20 days later and nothing arrived, I was already upset enough and sent him another e-mail. By that time I was determined to leave negative feedback but I still waited one day before doing so.

I believe he might have his problems and I would accept it if he would be more communicative. I am not the sort of guy to send PM after PM asking for a reply, but I would expect a response within the following days at least. I just waited and waited, expecting to receive the item or a message from him. I never asked my money back and I don't think I was rude except in my last e-mail before leaving negative feedback.

Ye never had problems with jacob, had multiple dealing with him well over 500 pound. Always received very fast to my country! I agree communication could be better sometimes, but always received package in good order.

Considering all of us have had good experience with Jacob, including you Saturn, it is possible something in real life is keeping Jacob from setting this straight. Could be anything. Family death. an illness. He did say he was "out of country". It's also possible that customs confiscated or is witholding whatever it is Jacob sent you, but for the life of me I can't understand why Jacob won't just give you the tracking codes...

But, as you said, he is not communicating and there is not much choice for you but to leave negative feedback. Perhaps if later on he sets thing straight you can reverse it with help from the powers that be (like Symphony or Jugs)

Yes, basically, there wasn't much left to do but leave a negative feedback. He communicated a few times when I e-mailed him and he actually replied quite fast. I thought everything would be ok for 3 times: when I bought the item, when he said he would send a replacement if the previous didn't arrive and when he said he was finally going to send it. But I had to worry each time the item was taking too long to arrive.

He told me he was on holidays for 2 weeks and had some personal issues as well. Even if something serious did happen, he could at least warn me about it. I'm a comprehensive person but I obviously can't guess what's going on if he doesn't tell me.

Yeah I could retract my negative feedback if that's possible and I'd be willing to pay the postage costs he had to pay for resending the item if it really wasn't his fault. But the way things are now, that's a little hard to do.

It's a shame though. He had very interesting press kits for fairly good prices. I would probably buy a couple others in the future but now that this happened I bet none of us would be willing to deal with each other again.

I'm searching my records for the tracking number as we speak and will post it on this thread so everyone can see the item was sent out for the third time last week.

This is the first problem I've encountered and have over 20 bits of positive feedback. Thanks to everyone that very kindly explained their positive experiences above.

I am dying to check the tracking codes. Feel free to do it whatever you want, I never wanted to damage your reputation anyway. But I need those tracking codes to find out if something I'm thinking of really happened or not.

Josh is the nicest seller I've ever dealt with on any forum and he is the most genuine, honest and affable person. I've bought stuff worth nearly £1000 from him over the last 8-9 months and never did I have any issue with him. He is a busy person and that doesn't permit him to respond to PMs as frequently as we do but he would definitely get back to you within 48 hours maximum after receiving any query.

Some of my most prized merchandises have been bought from him.

There has been instances when his parcel arrived at my home even before he provided the tracking number :haha:

Overall i'd agree with that kristal, he definitely isn't ripping saturn off here, but i dont know what went on.

Communication from Jacobpegpog is almost always very slow, sometimes dare i say no reply at all, i can personally say that, having brought 5 items from him.

Well guys, just to let you know, I received the press kit today at last. It came with some damage to the edge where the box lid folds - it's partially ripped. I can't tell if it was already like this or if it happened during postage because the outer box was quite beaten but there is no other damage to the press kit, not even the corners. I now have to fix this, but at least it arrived.

Chains of Olympus press kit finally comes (after 2 weeks). Good general condition but the backside of the box (close the edge of the opening) is almost broken and I think will definitely tear soon or later.

Wouldn't it have helped to have let me known this? Dont divert from the fact that you clearly ignored me. And I made the payment using credit card, so you don't even need to get the money transferred into PayPal. You simply press refund tab on the transaction and it will automatically go through. It would have also given me automatic notification.

Putting a stand based of frivolous reasons and lies wont help the cause.

I have also seen from you thread that you have sent damaged items, late items and at times never sent them (as also in this case). Perhaps you are too busy to not even see that. Just gotta say, it takes a grand total of 5 minutes to refund someone their money (I have done so many times). Dispute or no dispute, as soon as it was said that the item was not available, the money should have been refunded right then and there at that moment with no issues.

The only way that wouldn't work is if the account was drained to absolutely no money after receiving payment, in which case you would have to transfer the refund from your bank account. Even then, that takes about 5 days on average, so the buyer would have had the money in under a week from the point it was realized that the item was unavailable.

And even after a complaint was filed (after a week of waiting for a refund that should have come immediately), a negative balance only occurs when the complaint is awarded to the buyer, in which case the buyer receives the refund regardless of the money in the seller's account. As in, the buyer gets his money refunded, and if the seller's account was at zero, the money is still taken by PayPal and your account goes into the negative as a result.

Whole lotta nonsense going on here.

I will keep the communication on here since he never replies PMs until I get my money back. Or is anybody else giving my my refund on his behalf? If yes kindly do so instead of empty words. I might even consider revising his feedback.

You didn't have to transfer any funds to paypal, in that case it would have been an instant refund, you are clearly lying there. Instead you are making me to wait till 13th August till I receive the refund.

Dates of the original transaction on 8th July and the refund today on 6th August and its clearing date of 13th August are for everyone to see how pathetic you are as a seller too keep me waiting for more than a month just to return my money back.

And even after all that time you wouldn't have refunded if it hadn't been message to you from Twistedsymphoney.

Eh, I'm tired of arguing with you (because you're full of you-know-what), and there's really no reason to anyways, but it doesn't matter how someone pays. The money is still coming through/from their PayPal account to your PayPal account, and the same goes for the refund.

And honestly man, there is no one week or more delay on e-checks, whether they be payments or refunds. You had more than enough time to start the process of the refund, even if your hands were tied like you swear they were.
